Ko pin yi going to bca nationals Las Vegas

Agree with wu his a monster .. But so his ko pin yi and few other Taiwanese guys and le hewen great player also .. But wu my fav to watch

Just wondering, why is Wu your favorite player to watch? And if its still the same of his game today or did you actually only enjoyed watching him play when he was in his teens instead.

I've gotta disagree with you both on this one.
And I noticed neither of you bothered to answer my question.

If the US Open is so easy to win, then why aren't those guys coming over here and robbing it, along with the BCA open/Pro Tournament/whatever it's being called these days? Plenty of them come over for both.

To hear you two tell it, their weakest players should be steam rolling over here. lol

2000 dollar plane ticket + hotel stay and three to four times the cost of living. You would have to place in about top 3 or so to break even for titles that most of those players don't covet as much as the Americans do. The Taiwanese players see WPC as the most coveted title as well as the Asiam games (bonus money from govt thats more than the prize). Another thing is the language barrier and lack of hospitality. Filipinos speak much better English and have a lot more people to take care of them here in the states and get them into action.

My opinion on this is that 75% of the pool in world tournaments can finish in the top but not all have the ability to win it. In thr US OPEN the monsters usually breeze their ways through the early round but in the world tournaments its not surprising that monsters can be knocked out early as the majority of the field when caught a gear has the ability to knock out any of the top players. Same could not be said of the US open in general there are just way too many people in the pool that do not belong in it.
