I just unboxed a new Konllen Carbon Fiber Pool Cue, #07-AK75-001in Red.
The cue is selling for $699.00 everyplace else, but on Amazon it's only $399.
The stick seems like it's high quality. I'll post a review once I've had a chance to horse around with it.
I'm way too cheap to pass up a discount like this. If you're thinking about it, Amazon states they only have 7 left.

Of course they do. Good marketing. Get people to be fearful that they may miss out on a good discount if they don't act fast! "Operators are waiting!!"
Pool players aren't the only hustlers out there!!:cautious:

Wow! That looks good. I almost want to buy it. I've wanted a CF butt for a while.

I’m not confident any of these are true carbon fiber butts (not that it matters). I have a $70 carbon fiber jump cue and the butt seems to be some sort of filled fiberglass. The shaft looks like CF although I haven’t cut it apart.

And to be fair I don’t know that I could tell the difference between CF and other wound composites.

I emailed their customer service to ask. I'll post the response when received.

So I had chance to play a little bit with the cue. These opinions are my own, YMMV.

Best part about the cue is the looks. No decals. Real inlays and ring work.

How much per unit cost did they save by putting in a 3/8 screw over a Uni-loc/quick release joint? I wish they went with a Uni-loc.
The butt is way thin compared with any other cue I've ever played with. Not necessarily a bad thing. Just an observation.
The butt of the cue is divided in half by what's supposed to be the wrap (faux leather). Potentially distracting for the OCD types.
The hit of the cue is dead, no springiness or zip. That may be because the whole cue is CF(?).
The shaft is OK, I guess. I normally play with a Revo. No comparison.
I play with a Moori tip which holds chalk awesomely. The tip on the this cue is OK, but again, no comparison.

Not a bad cue, especially for the money or for a newbie player. It's also a good "trunk cue".
I'll probably give mine to my 14yo son who is just getting into the game. I think the thinner butt will work for well for him.
List on this cue is $699.00. For $300 off list, ($399.00), I'll give it a C+.
Truth be told, if I had the chance to play with it before I bought it, I would've passed.

No stickers on the Konllen cue?
all cues listed there are inlays
The cues on the other webpages are decals

After much consideration, I'm probably going to send the cue back to Amazon for a refund. Thank goodness for those generous Amazon return windows!

The beautiful thing about Amazon for sure! I get something I don't want to keep, I just get a bar code online, take a picture of it with my phone, take the code and the product 10 minutes from home to Kohl's, unpackaged. As soon as they scan the bar code, the refund is already back into my account.

I never knew Kohls accepted amazon returns. Does Bezos own Kohls, too?

That's an actual cue company? I thought it was some knock off amazon company

it's a floating definition. it probably started off as a generic aliexpress / amazon CF shaft but got some traction. i think jflowers started on aliexpress as well, now they're a cue company sponsoring players (shaw, orcullo etc)
