Kou vs Wu

How did you miss the huge number of posts about the World Juniors and the world class pool played at it by the two Wu's? We were not kidding...
That's what I meant when I said I don't keep up like alot of you do. I don't have a chance to read all the posts, etc. I can just get on here occasionally, and usually just when Gabe's in a tourney, etc. Just by being engrossed in this all week, I am so very far behind on everything else. But I sure learn alot from you all when I do get on the AZB forum and read what I can!!

Wu breaks and makes 1 and 2 with 3 hanging on the top left. 4 is married on the long right rail covered by the 8 with 7 hanging on the right side. 3 made. CB caroms the 7 with a decent 4.

AND?

The infamous hill-hill. How much more thrilling can a WPC be. It doesn't get any better than this!

Both players should be commended for putting on a first-class show, never giving up the ship!

Bravo!

[Round of applause and standing ovation before the final game.]

Definitely a fight to the finish!! I'm with you!

Kuo 16 vs Wu 17

Wu breaks and makes 1 and 2 with an open 3 to top right. Wu breaths hard. Takes the 3 top right. 4 left side. 5 top left. 6 bottom right. The audience are on a frenzy. The lady ref quites the crowd.

Wu seats down and takes a sip of that H2O. Stands and goes around with a smile. Goes down for the 7 off the same packet. 8 top left follows hard the CB and is a bit short.

Thinks it over and goes back to his seat to take a sip again. Wu stands up and ask the lady ref for the rest. Takes the 9 to bottom left to win the match.

HOLY HELL BATMAN! THIS KID IS THE REAL DEAL - WU comes back from 16:11 and runs 6 racks to win!

Unbelievable, we have a 16 year old world pool champion. I sense some serious domination for this guy for the next 30 years. We may have our new Mosconi, and his name is Wu.

What a hell of a come back.

I was shaking while typing it and my hair was standing all over.

Wu is on the books as the youngest world champion. This will be very hard to beat record. Should go to the Guiness Book of Records for a very long time.
