Finialy got my new Kress router hooked up and adapted to my CueMonster.
Cut some shafts down a bit today.
The router is the high quality you would expect from German engineering.
It runs very smooth with far less vibration than the other routers I have used. The router shaft bearings have no play.
I like the way the on-off switch unlocks and turns off with just a press of the finger.
Using the 6 tooth cuter the number "3" on the speed control gives plenty of tip speed for a smooth cut.
I am happy with the Kress router and it will be used to do all my shaft tapering and perhaps some of the other CNC tasks.
