KT Gets 30 Days

By the looks of things in the article, the 30 days isn't his biggest worry. $37 million in fines? Whoo hoooo, that's gonna hurt.

He'll have the $37 million covered as soon as his next deal with Stanley Ho closes.
 
Meanwhile he got named "Man of the Decade" by Billiards Digest! Can't say I agree with this assessment. I would say more like Scam of the Decade! It is true that he did pay out substantial money to a a handful of players, albeit in a VERY tardy manner. But he also collected significant amounts from the HUNDREDS of players who traveled far and wide to play in his "qualifiers." They never got reimbursed!

There is also a lot of information that he stiffed many of the vendors who worked on the three events he put on, including the hotels and television crews that taped all day. Even the referees he hired were never paid in full. I will be writing to the Digest today to voice my opinion about this selection.
 
Dear Billiards Digest:

Shame on you. You guys must be the most ignorant people on planet earth. How about you guys pay me the $$$$ I got stuck from the first event (after being told my Deno they had an "Unlimited budget")?

You guys make me sick. Giving an honor like that to a scumbag, liar, and con-artist. I remember when KT sent me the PPM (Private Placement Memorandum) for the "HO DEAL" it looked like a 5 year old wrote it. That's when I realized it was a sham.

I'm not crying about it because I knew he was a crook when I had to sign a contract addendum stating I was aware he was a convicted felon--- so it is what it is.

Good going, Billiards Digest. Morons.
