anybody know whatever happened to Mr. Lee? i ran across a tape of the first match i watched on ESPN back in 1998 when i first got interested in this hobby. it was the CoC match between Lee and Oliver Ortmann.

havent seen much from him lately, anybody know anything? i do recall he finished 2nd in the world championships in 1997 to Johnny Archer, and did win the CoC on one occassion.

He was born on January 24, 1968 and is very tall. I remember reading he had some health problems that caused him to cut back on international travel. He still plays but mostly in Taiwan. I don't know a whole lot else about him. I often wondered what happened to him also. Same with Min Wai Chin
 
Does anyone know where I can get a pic of Lee? I can't place the face although the name is very familiar.
 
Thanks ApoDra. That's why I couldn't find a pic, we were spelling his name wrong. It's Kun-Fang Lee.

I remember that he & Fong-Pang Chao came into prominence at the same time. I believe both had nicknames...Chao was "Stone Faced Killer" and Lee was...wait, maybe I have it backwards...does anyone remember?????

Fong Pang Chao nickname is Cold Faced Killer and Kun Fang Lee nickname is Tien Kung Missile...

Except Chao, the most elder players regard playing pro tours as the part-time job. The young pro players under 30 reign the taiwan pool world.

I know Chao has ever suffered from a serious illness (Hyperthyroidism) several years ago, but Lee are very very healthy. Chao Fong-Pang, Lee Kun-Fang and Chang Hao-Ping have the same coach.
