I just thought I should put a thread about kvinbrwr since I wasn't the buyer and I can't leave an itrader for him.

My friend bought a Tad that Kevin (kvinbrwr) had on ebay.
After my friend won the auction, he contacted me since I already contacted Kevin via PM here to see if it was him that had the cue on ebay and the fact that his English is not his native language and he didn't want to miscommunicate with Kevin.
Problem was that my friend was leaving for Japan two days after the auction ended and couldn't inspect the cue if it was shipped right away. He wanted to delay the shipment till April 3rd so he can inspect the cue once he got back.

Kevin was happy to do so, and even thought I wasn't the person that actually won the auction, he worked with us, communicating with my friend via e-mail and me via PM here on AZ.

Then Kevin contacted me last week saying that he is visiting his mother and can not send the cue on April 3rd. I was sure that my friend wanted to see his new Tad once he got back so we talked via PM about what kind of options we have. Kevin went out of his way by saying that since it was him that can not send it on promised date, he will ship it on the 31st of March and my friend can inspect it for extended period of time after receiving the cue. All during this time, I wasn't able to contact my friend but Kevin's generous offer made it easier for me to decide for my friend.

All in all, my friend came back to the US and his office yesterday and he was very happy with his new Tad when we played last night.

Big big thumbs up to Kevin. He is a great seller and top notch.

Big thank you from Tomo and also from me, Kevin!!.

Seems like there have been a few of these in the main forum lately. There is a sticky thread at the top of the Wanted / For Sale section for these things.

http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=42254

Due to popular demand.

This sticky will be for both the Buyer and the Seller to comment ( once ) on the completion of thier transaction. This will not be for hashing issues such as we have seen in the past.

Example:

Buyer; I just wanted everyone to know that my transaction with Joe went smooth as silk. He was quick and friendly and packed the cue very well and shipped it insured.
It looks great!

Seller; Bob was a gentleman and we had very good communication during the whole time. His payment was prompt and I look forward to selling him another cue. Thanks for your business!

This thread is for reporting from the buyer and seller only, not for addition questions and comments.

If you have any questions, please ask prior to posting.

Thanks,
Dave

Oops, sorry.
Mods please erase. I will put it in proper thread.
Thanks,

Well, since this thread is already here, I will add that YES...Kevin is a top notch guy and wheeler dealer.

He should get an award for the guy with the most "Lifetime Players" !!!

:D

Thanks for this and thanks for all your help in my transaction with Tomo. We are enriched in this world by the friends we have, and Tomo is quite blessed to have a caring friend like you. It was fun communicating with you and I'm so happy Tomo is pleased with his new Tad.

Thanks again

Kevin

Forsure Kevin is great, this is a testment to just how great Kevin is thread, or testical to how great he is.

That sounds like something Smorg would have said, dosent it?

On a serious note Kevin is great and trust worthy, on if he makes a claim about a cue or comment on condition its 100% accurate, unless its a human mistake, he dosent fluff up the truth.

LOLOL Just jokeing Kevin, I willll be around Hollywood Billiards the next few days perhaps i'll see you, i will give you a call.

Eric

Its pretty much a lock that a visit to HB will result in seeing me. I'll look for you.

Thanks, that's sweet of you to post this. I don't exactly always know what things will sell for and your cue went so quick and required so little work from me that I was happy to lay a little "jelly roll" on you.

Thanks again for the love. It feels good.

nice to see a postive thread about a seller and transaction once in a while:thumbup:

I really have nothing to say about him as a salesman. This is a story about how cool Kevin is.

It was about two years ago when we arrived to his door. When I say we I mean myself, and a troll doll named Dieckman. I was told by the troll doll that we would be living in Kevin's house for a few weeks, and as a driver I didn't have a vote so whatever...When we arrive to Kevin's, and we are greeted by him his wife, and their posse of cats. I observe the situation and I realize that the troll doll did not inform them of his plot to move in...

I immediatly blow the whistle on his evil plot to take over their house. Thinking to myself I wonder where we will be sleeping now...To my utter astonishment this incredible gent, and his wife opened their house to a complete stranger (me), and a troll doll with anger issues. I am not sure how long that stop lasted the whole trip is a bit of a blur my guess is we stayed longer than they wanted. Trying to rehab a troll doll is a tasking task to say the least.

The reason I am saying this is because I think t says alot about what kind of person Kevin is...

It's not (I don't think) that positive threads are rare, but rather that they are less popular and not nearly as well traveled as the negative ones. Maybe that says something about human nature or maybe its just the way AZ operates, but it did feel good to see the post.

Thanks

Kevin
