Landon Shuffett BEATS Strickland 7-2 at Viking Tour event in Athens, GA

On the other hand, you have a 5 time U.S. Open 9 BALL Champion, raking the balls, conceding the game to you.

That should make Landon feel like he is a champion, too. I hope that is the way he perceives it.

It is at THE VERY LEAST one living legendary CHAMPION'S recognition of another TOP PLAYER'S (AND soon to be CHAMPION) ability.

I would hope his dad is telling him exactly this.

How true...

More of a Dog man myself. Never had too much luck with the Horses!

I have been on a skid with my V Cash lately....had it up to 26500, and lost 3500. I'll hit one here soon....I have to!! T.P. is right on my ass. (and no, I don't mean toilet paper!!)

You people put way too much stock in a race to 7. I think the other post on here was not suggesting making every tourney a race to 21. I think he meant it is a little dumb to parade around and brag on how good you play when you beat a champion in a race to 7. Anyone, and I mean anyone can beat anyone else in a race to 7, PERIOD. Therefore to post 30 or 40 posts about a race to 7 is ridiculous.

Usually the better player will come out ahead in a longer race. But who cares man. The fact remains that this tourney was a race to 7 and Landon won fair and square. I played him before. He has excellent Q ball control. Plays the percentages better than MOST adults. Kicks excellently, hides the Q ball when needed, banks........the list goes on. I would love to see how you fair against him. He is a very talented kid and very well learned in the game!
