rikon.jpgWhat kind of supervision do you think is given in China saw industry when they deliver a bandsaw with their logo VERY LARGE LOGO upside down? What else would be suspect?

Have you EVER tried dealing with someone in CHINA??

Better yet, and to put it in better perspective... Would YOU know if CHINESE words were upside down?? I seriously doubt more than one person there knows any English....

They sent me a new door

They sent me a new door w/right side up logo against my wishes. Reimbursement is what I would have done...but if they couldn't see that at the factory what might be overlooked0129130723.jpg

How much money did you ask for?? If you are that worried just return it...

It's pretty funny TBH. I would have just left it....

I asked them if they ever saw a Chevy logo on a car upside down?

I asked them if they ever saw a Chevy logo on a car upside down?

I have the 10-325 from Rikon and its by far the best bandsaw I've owned. Only thing to upgrade was the blade guide to Carter's. On your saw....The top door looks a little crooked like the top hinge is not lined up.... but maybe its the pic :p

Considering ALL of Chevy is UPSIDE DOWN, they probably laughed at you:smile:

If you thought an upside down logo was worth more than 15.00, I probably would have sent you a part as well.

This one works well too.

This one works well too. My door not crooked.

China is on the other side of the world. The logo is right side up.

Here...I'll show you:

It's all in the perspective.

I design products and we specifically pokeyoke (error proof assembly) branding to prevent this. The designers could have changed the spacing of the rivets so they are not symmetrical.

Isn't it right side up to the person in China who put it on?

Exactly. If I was putting on those Logos written in Chinese I can all but guarantee I'd put one on upside down... or maybe all upside down except one :)
