My guess its a basic asian import meant for Larry to make a little coin off sales. Not a cue he ever used in comp.

A friend was with Larry at the hospital when he spoke to Ronnie Allen on the phone. The Prince described the worst consequence of having a terminal condition: "Now my bookie is making me post my bets..."
Larry had a sense of humor that wouldn't quit. I watched him play Mike Zuglan during a Joss tour event. It was in Mike X's room in New Bedford, Mass. Larry had enjoyed quite a few Szambucas and as he strode past Evgeny Stalev, the Russian phenom who was amid a 6 rack run to beat Strickland, he said "how's it hangin' Boris?..." and went on to his own match.
Grady Mathews told me that no man could match up better at straight pool than Larry. Few if any have inspired so many New England players
He was quite a character. His picture hangs at Snookers in the New England Pool and Billiard Hall of Fame.

Larry came from a generation that mostly broke with their playing cue. Break cues increased in popularity in the 1980's.
Some people still do.
I ran into Larry in my home room in LA circa 1969. We played nine ball for $5/game. I won two in a row and he quit me. Smart move why play me and beat me when took the small loss for something better down the road. That came the next day to a guy less skilled than me and Larry stalked his way to a $200 score. No small change then. The next time I saw him six months later he was beating the $10/20 pay ball game at Bellflower Billiards on the snooker table. He beat the game for $80 K over a month or so. He’s ball striking was perfect for that game. He hung around LA for a year or so and left with the cash. Didn’t see him again til a tournament in Vegas in the 80’s. Great guy what a legend.
