Who do you like in the upcoming Nevel / Archer Match in July at Rainbow Billiards? The game is 9-ball, 10 ahead, rack your own. As of now the starting bet is $5000.

For everyone coming down for the match, there's a cool little bar right up the street from the Rainbow called The Myrtle Beach Bar & Grill. They have great food and drink and a couple of bar tables.

Recommended hotel is the Hampton Inn. (864) 343-3636
 
Im a Georgia boy born and raised and its harrrrrrrrrd to bet against Johnny for the cash. And Larry is playing extremely well...I think hometown advantage may make the difference in this one....Im definitely going to sweat it though. Should be an awesome match. JMO.

If anyone wants to make a small sweat bet ($20-$100) Ill take Johnny. I have paypal, and will pay right away.
 
I would have hard time being a railbird on this one. Johnny is a machine. Larry is playing at his best right now though. This is a show em set.
 
Johnny is gona whip his butt in my opinion. Larry nevel has an awesome stroke but Johnny is too smooth and consistent. Go Johnny!!!

If Larry is in stroke, I'll have to pick him.

IMHO LARRY is the better all around player.

At this time the rotation games are close while LN has a significant edge in 1P. I also like him playing BP. I'm clueless how they match up playing straight pool.

With regards to 10 ahead 9B I like JA by a teench....11 to 10 on the cheeeeeeeeese?

The majority betting against a Hall of Famer and even his buddy saying Larry's got the best of it?

Larry is playing like King Kong lately, but Archer has played well this year and his accomplishments are of course far beyond Larry at this point.

Lakers get drilled, Big Brown runs like a dog, what in the hell is goin on?

Only Tiger makes sense anymore if Larry is a betting favorite on this one long term.

Considering Fatboy and Johnny are friends, I believe that may have been a post to get a good line.
 
I am not sure this is the same Johnny that was so dominant in the 90's. Larry on the other hand is doing quite well at the moment. I hope TAR can get there to film this because there is no way I can get there to see it.
I will have to wait for Bowman to play Mills in August at Hammer Heads.
For some live action.
