I will be in Vegas aug 20-22. I'm just an average player at best and looking for some cheap 10/15 $ one hole. Also any good places to play b/c last time I was there 10yrs ago, either I didn't find a good hall or there wasn't one to be found .

almost every time I'm in pool sharks someone asks me to play 1pocket.
 
Poolfire.....seems there was post not long ago (2 months) about a room that advertises acouple hi-end 3 cushion tables, a snooker table or 2, regular 9 footers, with a great Italian chef and food to die for. Think it begins with an E, but can't remember. The pix of the place showed very well. Sounded like a room I would want to go to. Get the list of rooms in the city, and then check out their websites. Hope this helps.

I was just in Vegas yesterday, they were in a cold snap @ 102 degrees.
I hope you find a game and have fun.

Will you have a car? Where are you staying?

If you have a car, then it'll be easier to get around. Taxi's can be kinda pricey.

The rooms I would recommend are:

Cue Club, on Sahara- great room, has gold crowns and barboxes. Has about 8 tight pocket GC's

Pool Sharks, on Decatur- Diamond tables, including a "pit table"

Mickey's, on Eastern-another Diamond table room, with Diamond barboxes

I haven't been to Best Billiards yet, it sounds nice , tho.

I would say your best bet on finding a 1p game might be the Cue Club or Pool Sharks. Also, that week, the APA has their national event at the Riviera. You might wanna stop in and try to drum up your own 1p game, and take them to the Cue Club, which is about 10 minutes from the Riv. just hang around the "Mini Mania" area and talk to some players that are hanging around.

doing real good....not playing as much as i use to ...but still get my table time in when i can....my wife is going out to vegas for apa and i thought i might go out there for a cpl days and hit some ...how have you been and when is the next time your coming to the show me state? i will try you some 10/7:thumbup:

10/7 in the Show me state? What are you gonna show me...what a beat down looks like??

I might not be there til the end of the year. We'll have to hit Side Pockets, if you have time.

If you're at the Riv, think about hitting the Cue Club. Sometimes, the CC runs a free shuttle between the Riv. Usually during big pool events.

I'll be out there starting Aug. 20 -25 but I think I'll be busy playing in a tournament. Plenty of rooms out there and I think they might gamble in that town. Good luck, finding some action.

The APA National Championships are at the Riviera that weekend and there are some pretty good shots that play in the Masters division.

If you are looking for some action, go down to the Riviera and it probably won't take long to find a good 7 who will play you for something.
