Last 4ever Tip Tool...

Joel, does the combo comes as two seperate tools one dime and one nickel? or are they put into one tool with one side dime and other side nickel? if the second is true, then what happens with the tip scuffer face "the straight one" thats found in the original tool

The "regular" aluminum model on your website is $19.95, correct? (In Nickel radius or Dime radius).

It sure seems to me that people who spend $20 in ONE EVENING playing pool, would want to have the best tip tool that money can buy and one that will last indefinitely.

The only problem you have for the customers you sell is that your only hope of selling more to them is if they lose the one they bought. Mine looks like the day I bought it and it gets plenty of use.

correct Joey, the Standard model in either Dime or Nickel is $19.95 & the combo model with both Dime and Nickel is $29.95

The combo model is 25% thicker (⅝" vs ½") to allow ffor the radius to be cut into both sides
Both Combo & Standard have Mushroom Repair and Burnishing surfaces
The Standard model has an additional Scuffer side that the combo does not (you can still scuff using the shaper very lightly)

While they don't wear out, I sell a lot to repeat customers because they lose theirs, their friends steal them & I get a big hit around Christmas because there aren't too many $20 gifts out there that someone actually likes.

Here's the difference:

Joel, I'm fairly certain you could get set up on Amazon fairly easily. They take a small cut but your exposure would be awesome. I know that's the first place I looked before I went to your website.

Look into it, I'll bet it's doable (the small company I work for did it for small volume products and we sell through them to this day).

Ebay is ebay, and some like myself just don't bother with it much.
Totally agree about trying Amazon. I believe they do far more volume than ebay.

Wish there was some way that prospective buyers could read these AZB comments, I'll bet it would convince a lot of people. I just ordered my first one from Joel yesterday based solely on what I've read here by folks who know what they're talking about. Oh, and by the way... "Thanks!!"

Got my combo tool the other day. Well built and easy to use. Looks like it would last4ever.

Thanks for the positive comments. I am now experimenting with Amazon, we'll see

Now available on Amazon.com

OK, you convinced me, the tip tools are now available on Amazon.com as well as eBay.

However, there are so many products on Amazon I couldn't find my tip tools unless I searched for "last4ever tip tools" which is kind of funny.

If you google "last4ever" you get to my web site and a number of referrals to AZB to find reviews, but, on Amazon searching "last4ever" alone does not get you to my tools.

AZB & other word of mouth are still the main source of sales.

Thanks for all of your suggestions and support.

Joel

Joel - Yes it's hard to find on Amazon. I noticed that the words 'pool' or even 'cue' don't appear in your descriptions. It may not be clear to people exactly what it is, and, more importantly, it may not get linked to generic searches for "pool cue tip tool" or as alternatives to other tip tools out there. Good luck, I love mine.

Thanks, when you set up each product in Amazon they give you a choice of 5 "search terms"

I used the following:

last4ever
billiards
pool
pool cue
tip shaper

any thoughts would be appreciated

Joel

Tom
Thanks for the kind words Tom. I'm ready for another one pocket lesson (read thrashing) anytime you like. Always a pleasure to play with you.

Off to the Seminole Event@ Seminole Casino Immokalee, FL 09/29 & 09/30 hope to see some of your there.

I just bought one of the 'Pro' models in dime size. Came in today, tried it out as soon as I got into the house. All I can say is WOW. Nice shaper, I haven't had a chance to try the scuffer side yet, but it looks like it will do the job well. After using it, a little cleaning out with a pencil eraser and it was good as new.

Nice tool Joel! Great job!

Ordered a dime size last4ever today. Can't wait to get get it in and toss my ultimate tip tool in the trash can.

Finally ordered one and wow the shipping was fast. This just replaced 3 things in my case and I couldn't be happier.

Is your price for the standard model dime tip still $19.95? I purchased one from you last year and like it so much that I'd like to buy more for my billiard buds. Thanks, Cliff
