It will be practically impossible to meet everyone but I'm going to copy the list and strike through it as I meet each one.

This appears to be a larger group of AZ Bers than what was at the Derby City Classic.

Laissez Les Bon Temps Roule.

I will be thar!!!!! i will give free bumper stickers to all the AZers for $2.00 a piece???? is there an AZ room??????????? ZZ Brock

You must be a math teacher!!

That reminded me of something I saw in the paperwork... I had totally forgotten about it! No adhesive-backed stuff of any kind is supposedly allowed to be distributed or used in the building. I guess that would include name tags, huh? We were going to bring some bumper stickers, until we saw that.

Everyone is Invited

The Sterling Pavilion will offer up the Special Events Arena Saturday evening for a meet and greet for all the AZ'ers in attendance. Feel free to drop by and hang out for awhile.

Will John Barton be in attendance?
Thanks,
JoeyA

We seem to be slowing down. I know there are still probably enough other AZers who are going to probably equal about 100 of us. Is that too cool, or what? :clapping::wave3::smile2::yeah::dance::happydance::rotflmao::wave::joyful::woot:

Only in with his spirit in all of the newly designed Sterling products that John has been working on this past year. He is very busy with his new bundle of joy although I am sure he is going to miss seeing all his friends.

But what happens if we all meet and find out that we really don't like each other???

We throw you out for being the one who suggested such a thing could happen! :grin-square:

At the Expo, there is so much space it would be easy to stay away from someone you don't want to run into.

Nice list, Joey, but what do you have against AZB'ers whose names begin with T and W?

*Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler

And what about "R"
Someone needs to update the list.

I think that's a great idea.

Naaaaah. Surely not! Actually, I think you're probably right. I think everyone wants to meet the folks they spend so much time with. In fact, I have to wonder how many folks wouldn't be going, if there wasn't a chance to meet some of the "family"???

JoeyA is busy catching mudbugs for the atufa, and other coonass goodies he is bringing in big pots

Subway

Hey you guys.... Someone said they live pretty close to where the Expo will be. Can I get that person to tell me how far away the Subway is to walk? (Mapquest takes funky routes, because of all the 1-way stuff.) I need to get my exercise every day, or I'll be bouncing off the walls of that place and everyone will think I've been drinking, or something. Since I don't drink, that is NOT an image I want to portray, okay?:eek::eek:

Here's a good idea what I look like, if I don't get my exercise..... :happydance: or :thud: or :banghead:

And no, this is NOT a grab the popcorn, watch the show kind of hyper, either. That could possibly result in :kma: or :bash:

Okay, so maybe I don't get THAT wound up, but I really do like to get my exercise and I thought if the Subway isn't too far away, I might walk over there once or twice during the weekend. The exercise would really do me a lot of good. (So would all those black olives and carrots and cucumbers and spinach and bell peppers and...)

sorry bud...I live fairly close, and I don't know of any subways near the Expo...unless you are talking about the sandwich shop...."subway"?

You might be taking a taxi....then sprinting to the door? :)

JesPiddlin...The closest Subway is at 160 N. Gulph Rd, which is not too far from the big mall. I'd say it's probably about 1.5-2.0 miles each way.

Well, drat! I was sure hoping it was a mile or less down the road. I don't mind walking a couple of miles, but not when I need to be at a booth. Too much time to do that both ways.

Yes, that's the one I was talking about. Thanks for your help, Scott.

You crack me up! :rotflmao1: I have lived in the middle and the south, all my life. Never have I seen a subway train. The only Subway I've ever seen was a sandwich shop. Totally forgot there was ever anything else! Thanks for the reminder!

Just curious... Are there any subway trains in the area? That might be worth checking out! Would love to see one in real life. Nothing ever looks the same in real life as it looks on tv.
