Last Day

Just getting back from the hospital, went to be with him during his surgery, everything seems to have went great. Wont really know much till he wakes up and things work out. There are 29 tickets still left to sell. Im going to do the drawing at 9:30 pm just in case there are a few late commers seeing as how its still just 4:30 on the west coast right now. So get your tickets while you can.

info on raffles

here is some info for all AZ'es on raffles. be very carefull before entering a "personal" raffle especially from an open forum. to have a legal raffle there are a few organizations you must contact and prove non personal "charitable" intentions. it's illegal in most states that allow raffles to use raffle proceeds for personal gain, profit or use of any kind if not provide by an established charitable entity. here is what NY state has to say about raffles.

i'm not being unsympathetic to the poster's issues ( i went through back surgery myself recently). i just wanted to let people know for the future to be careful before you jump on to "chances of luck" or offering them.
 
Well Mark stated the "drawing" would be last night at 9:30. I waited until almost 11 before I called it a night.
Still waiting to hear the results. :(
 
Sorry all, I couldnt get logged in last night. The winner of the drawing was Jason Sanchez of Fort Sumner NM. I do need him to contact me to make sure that I've got the correct mailing address for him so that I can get the cue out to him.
 
Not sure of his AZ name, i'm still waiting for him to contact me to make sure I have the correct information for him. Rest of the tickets are still in the box incase the winner doesnt contact me i'll refund him via pay pal and draw for another winner. I just wanna give him time to get in contact with me as im not sure what amount of time would be appropriate to give him.
 
AZ was the only place that it was advertised, it had to go through my website in order to pay. But as far as being advertised yes AZ was the only place that anything was said about the raffle. There was no local ticket sales at all. All ticket purchases was from either here, someone from here telling a friend, or someone who visited my site and happend to see it. I just dont know the winners AZ name cause all I have is payment information.
 
Thanks for bumping this up, for some reason I couldnt find this thread in order to post, he contacted me via email to confirm his address this past thursday, idk if he was just someone visiting AZ that hadnt registered or if he is a registered member on here, I sent him an email stating that the cue had been shipped and also asked him for his AZ name and asked him to please post in this thread to let everyone know cause people was curious as to his AZ name. I since havent recieved an email from him. He may be waiting till he recieves the cue before posting. I will update this as soon as I get a response from him to my last email.
 
I went along with the thought that this was on the "up and up".
However I know feel differently.

OK it has been a week now and it is time to publicly release the information you have for the winner to dispel the appearance of a rigged raffle for which there really was no cue and no winner. Thanks.
