if the Yankees win the series, thats right the last of the 70 plus deanos is free to the buyer if the Yankees win the World Series.

These cues have improved my game tremendously,no pictures on this thread but over 70 AZers bought the cue and you can find pictures if you look at the threads.

They tell me you can't sell cues without pictures, but over 70 of these sold.Only 1 is available for sale and when it sells there will not be more.

The cue is a Hoppe style sneaky pete with atractive brown colar rings, but what made it so successful is not the looks ,but the play.
I found this to be the best playing cue I ever saw, nice stiff soft hit, that provides consistency and ability to really move the cue ball around.

call 214 477 7323 if you want the last one,$350 to buy it returned if the yankees win the World series

Last Deano Cue

Are the later cues different from the initial cues? I have one of the first set of cues made and was wondering if I should pick this one up if it's different.

Attention Az

The last deano has sold to the first caller

About 80 people called about 75 cues sold without pictures,AMAZING

A further strange thing happened several people bought more than one,but more amazing is the way that these buyers were so quick to respond to defend me when those who never bought complained or informed us that cues don't sell without pictures

But My wife is learning to take pictures and I hope to show some real beauties in the near future.

Dean

Thanks to all the wonderful people who bought the Deano cues,John Nemic ,the retired engineer in Dallas who actually made these cues,is planning on making some really nice cues in the near future. They will be designs of his own with various joints etc not Deano styles unless you request them.Every cue I have seen of his hits good.

It is beginning to look like the last Deano cue was indeed a steal. The New York Yankees are now in the world series and I am about to be forced to return $350 to the lucky buyer.

John Nemic just told me to sell his only personal deano for $350 and its free to the buyer if Philadelphia wins the series.

Thats right Johns personal Deano with about 30 minutes play for $350 or nothing if the Phillies win,but whats the chance of that?

grab that phone you Riverboat gamblers

I'm crazy

I think the Phillies are going to win, especialy being +170 for the series. I'll take those odds anytime. Martinez, Hamel and Lee, enough said! Let me know the details please.

sell me on the wood joint screw please, the hit you describe sound like what i want

Although the joint screw is very different, I'm not at all sure that its the only positive about this cue. The idea, generally, about wood screws is to relieve weight from the joint, i.e. to shift the weight towards the rear of the cue, similar to billiard cues. However, with the meaty shaft of this cue, this result isn't as noticable. The wood screw certainly provides a lot of surface tension, or joint spring, so that the cue hits like a one piece cue. The best part of this cue is the shaft. A very, very short taper, when combined with the short ferrule and whatever construction is going on up there, results in a very low deflection hit. An additional benefit to the short taper is that you tend not to overhit shots. That's about the best description of the deano I can give.

Hope it helps,
tim

??

Dean,
I mean no disrespect at all with my post but if you sold over 70 of these cues how come your itrader only shows 34 transactions??

Also, who makes these cues? and why is it such a secret? Again I'm just wondering Sir and Thank you in advance.

this is it,the garage is empty,no more deano cues from me forever

the original maker John Nemic is stillmaking cues,214 577 8759 call him he makes great playing cues, and does great work'
He is finishing two prather blanks with ebony fronts for me,one will have mitred boxes in the handle and tons of inlays.
I give him my full recomendation, you can get a really nice cue

All this talk about Deanos made me wipe the dust off of mine Sunday night. I was going to sell it soon with the advent that Deano didn't have any more left and I was going to thin out the pack.
It shoots too good, I can't bear to part with it.

I went back thru some of the older posts and thought it was Dan Janes making these cues and OB1 cues was making the shafts :confused:

Once again my questions about these mysterious cues were lost in space
