Last night at the pool hall I had my best hustle night to date.

I deleted the story to bad you didn't fully comprehend what it was about.

I went ahead and removed the story because a good portion of the posters here love to threaten and post insults rather than read and comprehend something before posting. I hope a few of you here wake up one day and magically grow a brain. I also hope one day insulting people and just generally being ignorant will cease here, but its doubtful.

My, what a story! Perhaps those guys will read this thread, and decide to kick your a**, like they should. Talking openly about hustling and dumping will net you nothing here buddy. That kind of lowlife activity is one reason pool has such a sullen reputation now. It doesn't need more people like you, thinking you're SO cool, because you hustled some lesser skilled players out of their money. Hope you're really proud of yourself!  :(

What's wrong with a little action? I know a couple pros that've stooped a lot lower than that lol

:) They were the ones trying to hustle me from the get go. They invited me to play with them. I took advantage of the situation, isn't that what you are supposed to do. I could give 2 bits of what you think of me, I had a good time over on some guys that thought I was a chump, I hope some others enjoy the story, I've been had plenty of times I don't feel guilty in the least about getting over on this one, I guess this event is so powerful it may dismantle the very last thread of dignity this sport has.

I'm still new here but I thought I'd share. Sorry for the long read.[...]

I don't believe your story.

But supposing for a minute I did believe it, I have a few questions.

1. Wouldn't it have been easier and quicker to just roll a few old ladies in the shopping mall parking lot or a few kids finishing their paper routes on collection day?

2. Do you *really* feel comfortable that cuemaker and cuemaker's friends as well as friends of cuemaker's friends who might hear the story *all* don't read AZB?

I guess Texas is not a very rough place, so you're probably safe...

sheesh

Grats Bishop. Now how about sending some of those winnings my way?:D

Does the shaft match well?

A story is a story, there is to many moral preachers on this planet and unfortunately some of them can write......

Plus they were fat and lazy so I'm not to worried about them kicking my ass. Not to mention they intended to hustle me first

No I don't find Texas to be to overly rough. This was a pretty mid scale pool hall, I wasn't in the ghetto

I answered your questions. Shocked at how many pretentious A-holes post here. Like I mentioned before they intended to hustle me plain and simple I out smarted them. What exactly is unbelievable about the story? What whould you have done differently Mr. Perfect.

It was a McDermott and it matches ok. It did have a brass ring that matched and it rolled almost perfect but I found the base of the shaft was about 3/16 to thin all the way around. I'll eventually find a better fit but really its just for a backup if I need it. :) thanks for asking.

Scott I think you made some GREAT POINTS in YOU POST. Also Bishop when you said ''These guys think I’m right for the taking since I’m already down almost 200 bucks."

When you were down the 200 what would you have said if they pack up and left with your $$$....;)

Great point it was simply a risk that might not have panned out. I've lost money before so its not the end of the world but yes it would have sucked, although it was just my play money so no skin off anyone else's back. I figured with these guys I had to lose something and present myself somewhat upset over it if I had any hopes of playing it out for a little more, plus I got the impression they were just waiting for the right time to jump on me. Having played well for two games to tie it up made me look like a good player that just had a few bad games and now my emotions would get in the way for the rest of the night. I don't feel bad in the least these guys would have taken me or tried to take me for plenty had I not realized their intentions from the get go.

oh Color of Money. I don't know why I didn't get that.

I've heard of Willie and know it wasn't him.

1. So if there was no Jail Time you would 'roll a few old ladies'. I see
2. Theres not many cuemakers in Corpus. Fat and Lazy as well. I think I know who this might be.
