Last night at the pool room

I'm not going to be able to give ample description of this cue but I'll try. It is a brand new Searing. I took some quick photos with the owners permission he said I could post them and that he was not going to post any but didn't care. for starters Dennis did something that to the best of my knowledge has not been done before. the windows in the butt of the cue are pieces of mother-of-pearl and the veneers are pieces of maple cut and dyed himself. Apparently that's what he is doing these days. I'm going to attach as many photos as I can, I can't really review this as I'm doing this from my phone. in those mother-of-pearl windows are inlays, bordered by silver. the same is true of the inlaysof the points. Pardon the poor photography.

I was just lucky enough to see it and have the owner tell me to go ahead and post the pictures. what you can't see in the pictures or at least I can't see it is those small dots are actually tiny ebony dots bordered in silver. And the same holds true for the inlays in the mother of pearl windows in the butt. unbelievable. its funny how much that word gets applied to Searing work.
