this goes to josh ,babys arm, and a few of the georgia guys that ive had words with. i want to start off by saying i think we all have a lot in comman with golf ,poker, pool etc etc and i think we could all get along and maybe even be friends ,since i see you guys at tourneys i dont want hard feelings and deep down i wish you guys and myself the best in life. i like people and i know you guys are good people ,sometimes i think i take my frustrations out on people because pool does not pay what it should, hopefully things change. at any rate i feel better saying all this and i hope you guys know i mean it . i make mistakes as much as anyone and i hope that we can all start over and just be friends thats alot more fun bye for now john schmidt

I personally don't have any problem with that. I have never had any anomosity toward you John other than the whole Mobile incident in which you said that what I was saying was false. Just like you, and Josh for that matter, I am extremely confident in everything I do and say. In that regard we are a lot a like. I think that aspect of our 3 personalities sometimes gets misconstrued. Anyone that knows me will tell you that I'm extremely competitive and sometimes over confident, but would do anything for any of my friends or anyone in need. As stated previously, I love to have a good time and have been known to make sure everyone in the bar has a good time. I don't flavor coat the truth, and like to call em like I see em. I have no problem letting all of this be in the past and starting anew. However, if someone makes a post and I have an opinion on it because of my past experiences with the particular topic. Or, if by chance, I can throw some humor in once in while, I will most certainly speaketh my mind.

I for one would like to say that I think it is great having people like Josh involved in pool. Anybody with a little flair and gamble can only help the game. I have seen John play for years, and I have seen his temper, but usually he conducts himself well. He is confident of his game and he gets frustrated sometimes when thing frustrate him. So what? I have known Baby's Arm for years. He will bet it up, and he is also a colorful personality. Certainly a confident person. Anyone with the traits that these guys have can only be good for the game, especially the gambling end of it.

Like Josh says, he doesn't play that great, but loves to bet it up. What gambler wouldn't like that? He's confident and doesn't mind saying so. What's wrong with that? Hopefully most of us speak our minds. You have to be able to hold your own in a woofing session. I know John, Josh and Baby's Arm all can do that. Tony Stewart is getting more involved. Anyone who has seen him race knows that he speaks his mind and stands up for himself. So does Shannon Daulton, who Tony stakes.

This is great. Let's get more high profile celebs involved. It certainly can't help the exposure that the sport needs.

John,

Apology accepted and I feel the same. There is no reason to have a beef. Best of luck to ya, I hope you win an IPT event and make tons of money.

Now that we have all kissed and made up, lets get in action and gamble!!!!

I'll take the 3-5-7 and hte break

Josh you being involved in pool can only be a good thing. I only hope other poker players like A Slim and yourself beef up the action in pool with that poker cash.

John you are a hell of a player and I have so much respect for your game and pro attitude. Dont let personal crap get in the way of your career.

Babys Arm with your "monster"- Im staying out of your way.

I am sick up to here <pointing at my teeth> with this pissing contest and am ready for you guys to settle this like men. I suggest the following pentathalon of MANLY sports to settle the whole matter:

1. Golf
2. Billiards
3. Poker
4. Penis Dangling for Distance
5. Dodgeball (played in a small room with billiard balls)

Hopefully that will resolve this MANLY dispute for your egos and give the rest of us all a much needed break from the yapping!
LOL #4 an 5 LOL

You're misty eyed? Everyone is being so civil that I went and woke up the cat and then kicked her all the way across the room. (how am I going to get that spot off the wall?)
Tubster-- You simply don't have enough misery in your life these days. You're going to have to start playing pool again, and suffer with the rest of us!

Cheers~ Doc

I was just wondering if you knew of any other Touring Pro Poker Players who shoot good pool like yourself?

If there are quite a few - This could be pretty entertaining to see for the general TV viewers.

I believe John Hennigan was known as "Cornflakes", a good player from Philly. He is mentioned in the book "Playing off the Rail". I think he is now known as "Johnny World", a top notch card player.

Yup!...spot on....I watched him play in South Philly at Fuscos room, and they carried in the cheese by brief case! . I went during the day by myself, and started watching, only to forget the time. When I was ready to go it was like 11pm, and that area is SCARY fun at night, especially for a kid from the burbs. Another rail bird local guy I was betting with saw me on my way out and gave me an "armed ecsort" to my car, which was very cool since I"m a little dude at 5'6" 150.

Flakes

I'm from philly and saw Flakes play back in the day. He was one hell of a back pocket player. From what I hear, he couldnt get alot of action and when Efren beat him pretty bad one time, he decided to just concentrate on cards. Can't really blame him though, he is prolly making a ton of cash.
