Last update on Robbed by cuefan86 you won't believe this!

I wasn't commanding anything. It was more of a request. I would do it, but i dont have enough posts to turn him red. Someone should rep the guy, to keep him from screwing someone else. If you dont want to do it thats fine. Then dont come on here complaining when jacks another person around.

Are you sure I can't both not red rep him and complain if he jacks another guy around? Because that's sorta how I want to play it. Please don't tell me how you feel I should act or post and I'll try to show you the same respect OK ?

Thanks

Kevin

i was not directing any anger or frustration at anyone. Just made a request for someone to give cuefan86 some red reputation, so he can not do this to anyone else. Kevn took it as i was commanding him to do it. Only requested it, since i saw he had over 5k posts. Didn't realize people were so touchy on here.

He'd do it if he feels like it.
Red reps don't mean so much anyway.

Kevin, seems like you are a little too touchy. No need for the sarcasm either. If you don't want to do it that's your prerogative. I was only trying to help. People should not complain when cuefan86 does this to someone else because none of you that have enough posts to red rep the guy are doing it. Its no skin off my ass because I dont buy cues from people on AZ that I do not know. As the saying goes, he is not so helpless as he who will not help himself. I am done with this.

Look at Kevin's start up date on Az, then look at yours. I think Kevin has the right to do as he wishes, when he wishes. Giving red rep to someone is something each of us decide to do, or not do, individually. Certainly not on the advice of someone who's been here less than a 2 months with 32 posts (half in this thread asking people why cuefan still has green rep). So just sit back and watch the adults at work/play for a while.

I'll see if I can get some help with the "too touchy" thing. Any other areas of myself that you can see need improvement?

Thanks

Moneyteam.. just wondering.... where did you come up with the idea that more posts equals more reputation? You could post exactly as you have been since you arrived, have 10,000 posts, and not have any higher reputation than you have right now. Rep is EARNED!! Not given away due to posting stupid crap on every thread one can find.

I called this one, i knew the sig confirmation would be his defense. Like i said before, i have seen this done on eBay numerous times. There is no doubt if usps confirmation says it was delivered then it was . The buyer had this planned from the get go by not signing for it. I bet he has an ebay account and has done this there before....ALWAYS designate signature to the ACTUAL buyer. Once again, good luck, its gonna be tough. I would contact paypal and see if they can help you out by releasing some info of any cases he has made in the past claiming non delivery due to non signature, they mayhelp u out, worth a shot

If you used your credit card through Paypal, call your credit card company, tell them you never received your item but paid for it, they will charge back paypal and you will get credit on your account....

I think this was a trade.

I sent a FedEx envelope with the title of a car to my daughter once with sig required and they dropped it at the door to her office. No one was in at the time and it sat there for two hours. When she called later and said she got it I asked her who signed for it, her answer was no one. SO I went to Fed Ex and raised hell about that and being charged for it. They refunded me my money and then said, " the owner of the business had signed an agreement with Fed Ex saying packages could be dropped at the door even though the sig was required." I am in no way implying that is the case with this transaction just pointing out the ways that the shipping companies manipulate the consumers. Every time I ship anything now I wonder to myself if it will ever get to where it's going and what condition it may be in on arrival.

Yup. Both UPS and FedEx do the same thing for me on deliveries. It makes no difference what preference the sender paid for, they leave it on my stoop as a favor to me, which it is on delivery. It is no favor to the sender.

That's why I use USPS for the 8 zillion things I mail each month. If you send an item with Signature Confirmation through USPS, the carrier will obtain a signature or the item is going back to the PO awaiting a signature. If you get in any dispute, you have to prove that your recipient got the item and USPS Signature Confirmation will provide that.
PayPal disputes require direct online verifiable signature confirmation in all disputes over $250, and if you want to make sure you actually get that, you really have to ship USPS.

The problem with this particular deal is that it was a trade. I guess Signature Confirmation would have at least protected Greg against the "I didn't get it" lie, but really to enforce it, you have to go to court which generally costs as much as what you are protecting. I know you guys like to trade, maybe escrow is the way to go (never really thought it through, I don't trade cues). On straight purchases, I always pay via PayPal funded by my credit card, then in all unresolved disputes, I can always just make the costs go away.

I'm starting a "Matt hates cats" thread as soon as I can find a way to make it pool related. I always feel like I need a shower after I go into NPR.
