Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share my personal experience about the new Layani carom cue that I received two days ago. I must admit that I was a bit sceptical at first to go out of the frame and to choose something so different in regards to the joint. Since I live in Melbourne/Australia for me is very difficult or perhaps even impossible to put my hands on such cue to try it. So I had to take my chances. And what a surprise, the cue is really good, and it hits very well! I did not notice much of deflection when played with it and it certainly has quite a bit of power. Surely to be a good asset to anyone who seeks for a good performing cue. It is definitely a ‘keeper’.
I've been reading posts in this forum, new and older ones, regarding good carom cues. I heard about the great Dieckman cues (which perhaps I will never have a chance to try or own one
and the great R. Kilby's cues as well. Hopefully, one day when come to NY I would have the chance to meet some of you for a nice game or so and try one of those famous cues? It is such a shame that in Australia this beautiful sport is so poorly developed...
