Leaving AZ

and to follow, if you are a scammer then you're just BAD at it.
Too many people have been screwed on here to just let it happen again with no questions asked.

I am still hopeful it was an honest mistake but I won't lie, I am beginning to doubt it.

When prodigy1 posted about asking for donations for his wheelchair friend, I checked his post history and surmised that his intentions might be fraudulent.

So I PM'd him asking for the wheelchair guys contact info and where he shoots out of.

His only reply was the pool hall info, nothing about his friends contact info. Though he did thank me for inquiring about helping his wheel chair friend.

I also noticed he was buying just about every break cue listed on AZ. All within one day period.

Funny thing, one of the things he was asking for, for his wheelchair friend, was a break cue.

Prodigy1, why couldn't you just give your friend one of those break cues you were (trying) to buy? And I use the word "buy" very loosely.

I call bullshit. If I'm wrong, so be it.

I don't want to sound insensitive, but does a wheelchair-bound player really break hard enough to justify a break cue? Serious question.

Hard to stick around when people are saying things like this.

Guess you don't make it out of you're moms basement enough to find or that there are other forms of transportation these days. Hers some examples since you apparently have no idea....bus, train, plane, rental cars, etc. get away from the screen and keyboard and step outside for a little while. There's a world passing you by. I don't even know who you are but come to Texas and hit me up. I'll give you the 7 out and the break.

Let me tell you something Princess, i 'aint about to travel all the way to your area for a measly $100 a game,it just 'aint happenin' hmmmk? :boring2:

I propose $500 a rack or...

10 Ball/9 Ball
Race to 21 or 25
$10K - $5K minimum

Let's make this happen big boy.
Now your speaking my language. I said $50 a rack because that's all i figured you could afford. Races to 21 for 10k. And the money gets posted, not playing for owesies. Bring your cash to derby big boy.

So does this mean your'e not gonna spot me the 7/breaks for $10K at the Derby anymore? I'm a sad Pirate. :(

take the time that you would have spent in forum and check out the 2nd hand shops.
the bigger the good will, the better.

find a thrift store the size of a department store, that's where the deals are.
good luck with your bad self

There is no way to solicit donations on an internet forum without looking fishy. The exception is if you are a known, longtime, respected member. For example Ozzy Reynolds, a well known pool guy who runs the action pool tour, asking for donations to help Paul Helms' little girl.

If you're an unknown, and you haven't been on the forum a long time, at worst it looks like fraud and at best it looks like you registered just to get your friend free stuff... wham bam thank you ma'am.

There are a ton of good people over at Reddit who do similar things to what you did prodigy, except we verify whoever it is they are helping out first.

You asked for free cue merchandise as a brand new member for a disabled vet and then sent a bunch of bounced e-checks to varying members for several cues.

I would also like to know the first name of the vet and where people can find him play. And as a slight suggestion-clear up all of the B.S. with your bank and send the money. Paypal accounts are not hard to come by-if you have a bank account you can easily get a Paypal one. Don't leave without putting up a fight if any of it means anything to you. People get hostile when they feel like they get ripped off and that should be expected-take it with a grain of salt and clear up your name. Great way to prove your character.

Also, you started up some pretty big woofing in this thread http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=304492&page=3

If you have so much money, why are you asking AZB members for donations?

Actually, Tony the counter man at Ride the Nine is in a chair, and while his health has declined with age, he still plays good.. and 15 years ago when I first meet him... Yes, he needed, and used a break cue.

I appreciate the response.

I've already told you guys i took care of it all myself. Do i need to post his name and phone number here so he can prove the validity of the situation? I'm sure he would love getting a hundred calls asking about his current physical condition. Whatever it takes to make sense of this situation. I did nothing wrong, I've apologized already. If that's not good enough then I'm sorry that you need more gratification.

How about just posting a tracking number for Bigdaddy on that Predator shaft? That would clear up your name with me at least (not like you care).
