Larry,

That's all? No other results? No finish on Kelly Fisher, Lisa Marr, Kim Shaw or Sarah Ellerby? Crap I have seen them on TV. LOL "Instant Replay" Another who cares?

Thanks for the up date Larry.

Cheers,

Gremlin :(

All right laddie, your lassie did not fare too well. I hate to tell you this but I bet on her to win in the final and she let me down. How can a true Irish man not bet on a fellow Irish lassie.

Allison Fisher in a lovely blue top showed off a stunning figure, she has lost weight and her out line is great. Lee looks like she lost a lot of weight and is skinny, model rail skinny. I never thought I would see the day Fisher would look better than lee but it has occured, she is now the hotter hottie.

Would you like my hooter report, naw, You want the pool results.

Helena played really well but was dispatched by a Lee dutchess of doom who played much better.

The real dutchess of doom got way out in front of Koor and looked like a sail in the park home and got locked up into two games of long defensive battles and lost both games. The momenteum changed and Korr caught up and Fisher seemed shaken by this. Koor hung on to win, putting Fisher finally in the losers bracket.

Lee then played Fisher and dispatached her with out too much trouble, Fisher seem to have never recovered from Having Koor in the bag and letting her out and Korr baggin her instead. These were races to 9.

The final was a race to 11, Jeanette Lee vs Karen Koor, me beting on Koor. I said the only way Lee could win was win the lag, break and run out, do it again and get 2-0 out of the chute, she did exactly that. Koor folded faster than a blue light special $3 KMart card table. It was a really a poor final match with Koor never really getting into it and Lee winning with ease by a large margin never pushed or challeged. I got more, but I am going to bed, you know Gremlin I am hiding, I must go hide under me bed and pea down me leg I am in such fear. That's all you get out of me for now, ta ta, toot ta loo. Cheerio. :D

Are you guys spelling her name incorrectly on purpose? Larry is spelling it "Koor" and poolguy is spelling it "Korr". It is spelled Karen Corr. And Gremlin, that is about the best picture I have ever seen of Karen however, if you think she is beautiful.....hmmm. Maybe you are referring to her personality, I have met her and she is very nice. Thats it.

Larry,

Thanks so much. That means Karen Mary Diane Corr is the number one Northeast lady even with a 2nd place. I will love her no matter the finish!
I wonder did they have a Calcutta? If so what did Karen sell for and pay. I would out bid anyone in a heart beat for Karen Corr. Sarah Ellerby too!!!!!!

Hey Larry my friends Smith and Wesson will take care of the hiding crap. Let me know if ya need me? Happy St. Patrick's Day!

PS "Duchess of Doom"? More like Allison "Oliver Cromwell" Fisher isn't it? LOL

Cheers,

Gremlin

Thanks for the offer grem, but I am fully capable of defending my self, no matter what comes at me. I hide from no man, fear no man. I do choose peace and to avoid conflict. If I am convinced some deranged person is going to start something that could easily esculate into something I cannot control and could have dire results, and I choose to avoid that, that makes me a coward? I'll run if you let me, corner me and then and only then will I fight. Gimme 3 steps mister, gimme 3 steps, and you wont see me no mo.

What is the guy attacks me and I hurt him, I don't need to be in court on some manslaughter charge because this guy went off the deep end. Let them say I now hide, I saw the threat, I checked this guys background out, I viewed this guy as dangerous and very unstable and capable of anything. I determined the threat was real and genuine. Given that, then what would you have done if you were me. It has happened to a lot of golfers and given any advance notice they have withdrawn for their own safety. Better to be safe, than sorry.

On no, no disrespect intended, my apologies to the lassie. It's late, I am tired, I'll be more careful next time. I just got in a hurry.

Gremlin,
I may be wrong (often happens), but I think that is 4 match victories in a row for Jeanette over Karen (though I think only 2 of the last 5 for Jeanette over Allison). It appears there may be a new #2 soon (if not #1) in the WPBA. Jeanette's game has really improved since last summer.

P.S. - don't be shy about posting more pictures.

With her finishes at the DCC and her victory in Atlanta, it seems that J. Lee has taken her game to a higher level. I've also heard that she ran 152 at straight pool and is playing in some three cushion events. Beautiful girls who play one pocket and carom billiards... man, hard to beat that (the model Kathy Ireland making her own homebrew is still pretty close, though).

Yes, Jeanette ran 152 last Fall on a brutally tight pocketed table (I think the old record was in the 130's by Ruth McGinnis) - that's pretty strong. She's improved since then (I think she only seriously started practicing late last Summer).

Yes, it is clear that Lee has risen to the occasion and taken her game to the next level. I don't have anything against the snooker transplants, and I am not Go America redneck, but I must say again that it's about time a lady American pool player stepped up to the plate and hit a home run against the snooker giants. Way to go Jennette!!! (sp?)

Gremlin, it's nice that you admire your fellow Irishwoman, but unfortunately neither you nor I nor any other man may be what she is looking for. Naturally, I think that Jennette is beautiful, as do most men, but Alison has been my long term beauty. Once again however, I don't think that myself or any man has what she is looking for. Sigh.

Don't mean to beat a dead horse, but I am so proud of Jennette for doing what she did and raising her game to the next level. Congradulations!!

Karen Corr

Hey Grem
I have heard nothing but great things about Ms Corr. But a friend of mine went up to her and politely asked her a technical question. This was after the tournament and she was with her friend Paul P. She was just rude to him and just brushed him off. I saw this and didnt see that he was being obnoxious or anything. As a matter of fact he waited till there was a moment to ask about her stance. From then on whenever she plays he always roots for her opponent no matter who it is. Im asking this because maybe you can give insight to her as a person. Maybe you can change his mind. This happened a year after she came over. Thanks!

If the Paul P. she was with was Paul Potier, that might just well explain everything.

Finally,
There is a decent conversation going on about the best women players in the world. Then again, there is a subltle undertone about sexuality.

If no one minds, I would like offer this to the two different topics being discussed (together) in this thread - players and sex. (I am kind of chuckling at these extramities, but I must give it a go).

Topic 1 - Players
We have all watched and played a lot of nine-ball, and that the longer the race the more likely the better player is going to win. We also know that there are also two primary elements to winning a set and/or a tournament,
(1) the best breaker normally wins, along with (2) the balls seemingly coperate better for the winner, ie: a shot after the break, a miss that leaves your opponent ultra-snookered, the disastorous SKID with a soft, close follow-shot (you know, the funny things that can happen in a given game of 9-Ball).
IMO - They are all great players on the women's tour, but Jeanette is just now coming into her own, maybe in respect for her tenacity to improve and her knowledge of other billiard disciplines.
(Special note of one young Michelle Rankin, who you won't have to keep your eyes on, she''ll do it for you with her cue).

Topic 2 - Sex
(I'm chuckling again) Think about how this forum appears to be male dominant. Now, what if there were a female dominant forum talking about attractive men players?
IMO - First of all they would have more class than that, meaning they would not mix the sport and the gender, but if they were discussing the top male players in the world...? Think about it?

Maybe I hear Sarah giggling too.
Which reminds me of a joke I heard from a hilarious (somewhat famous) comic named Tom Parks, and it goes like this-

A guy is talking to God and says, "Why did You make women so beautiful?"
God said, So you would like them."

The guy said, "Okay... so why did You make women so soft?"
God said, "So you would like them."

Finally the guy asked, "Then God, why did You make women so... stupid?"
God said, "So they'd like you!

Draw your own conclusion, but personally I enjoy excellence at the table. ONLY!

*** PS Banker I never mind entertaining dissertations. ***

Dear Gremlin,
Thank you. I appreciate your candid response about my post. I too enjoy dissertations. This is how we grow.

In a less tedious manner, I am simply saying, I like watching excellence at the table, ONLY.

In all due respect, sir, I do not find this boring, regardless of the players; and we are all allowed to have our favorites.

Banker Burt
PS Thank you for the photo of Michelle, Kimmy & Tiffany. Respectively, they are all excellent at the table... and this is the place where we learn.

I have seen Karen Corr the last 2 years at the Peoria tournament, and I was quite surprised at how friendly, down-to-earth, and approachable she was after (and sometimes before) her matches. She was very modest, and was joking with the fans. She signed autographs until everyone was satisfied. I was very impressed.

Sincerely,
Huge Jeanette Lee fan

Gremlin,
I think Jeanette is very aware of her fans. I'm fortunate to be able to play (pool) with her occasionally, and when we play at the local pool hall there is a steady stream of fans/autograph requestors. Of interest, once or twice a night when we play, the fan will come up to me and ask the same old question, "Are you anybody?" I used to say no, now I just use the "Willie Betmore" name and sign the autograph. I signed a couple at the DCC, the 2 fans said they had seen my match and liked my play (I wasn't even entered).

Banker Burt, I don't think your studies on the female mind and chit-chat haven't gotten very far yet. Women can get as down and dirty with the best of anyone when it comes to talking about men, sex, and gossip. Think about this...what gender heads up most of the nationally syndicated GOSSIP columns? What gender writes into those columns most frequently and talks about sex and men? What gender spends more millions on all of the tabloids such as the National Enquirer, Star, etc.? What gender watches all of the T.V. soaps that have all kinds of sexual innuendos and deviant sexual liaisons?
What gender can't wait for the next segment of Sex in the City and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy? Did you ever see a club full of women at a male strip club? Men can't compare in behavior! Have you ever been with a group of women while they're watching T.V. or in a restaurant who have a radar instinct about gay men and will point it out? For a while, attendance at LPGA events had been declining due to a large number of hefty unattractive women that were in fact lesbians and no amount of great golf made a difference. Now, there are a bunch of fresh faced hotties that can also play and attendance is really climbing. Take off your blinders and release yourself from all of the feminist teachings that lead men into politically correct control.
We like T&A, and they like nice butts and fantasies abound for both genders.
(Could have said more but didn't want to get banned)

...I was pondering the Jeanette Lee fans here? I was wondering if she knows she has great fans like you? You should send mail to her at her web site and let her know how much you admiere her....

Grem,

I told her in person at the Derby City Classic and she like "yeah whatever" LOL

I'm sure she gets tired of hearing it.

Actually she was great with the fans in Lousville. Very cordial. Very professional.

Blushing moments

Banker Burt have you been in a room full of young heterosexual female pool enthusiasts when a Cory Deuel, Troy Frank,Mika Immonen, or a Alex Pagulayan walked in. Dont underestimate/overestimate the opposite sex. They can sling out the hash just as good as the guys. LOL!!!!

Several years ago at the Crystal Casino in Compton, CA. I had the pleasure of sitting high up on the bleachers watching the WPBA tourney there when I was joined within earshot of Allison, Gerda and The Texas Tornedo - we were watching some of the new younger shortstops - the conversations were not conventional - I agree they can give as good as they get with a twist.
