Its just not fair! People try to show off their nice cues and then than dang Grassley guy comes on and trumps everyone elses cues! I'd say we should ban him but that would be punishing us too. Great cues (as always)!

Do you still have that Mark Bear Full Splice?

Dave
thanks Buddy and yes i do have the mark bear it is on consingment, so it has to be cash, have a good day

Wow! I'm never one to say anything bad about a cuemaker ( ), but this is perhaps my LEAST favorite thread to date!!!!

I know. I know. Go ahead. Rip into me for saying negative things about a cuemaker.

Least Fav Thread?.....

What's so bad about this thread?...Black is probably the most creative cuemaker out their today. What other cuemaker has accomplised what he has? Black deserves recognition from the community. Or at least respect in his own right.
...But everyone is entitled to his/her opinions.

My problem with Richard Black has little to do with his designs. Yes. He does do very creative work and some of his high-end artistic cues are showstoppers to say the least. But as for his lower end stuff and his catalog cues, his attention to detail is quite bad at times, often leaving many unacceptible and unattractive mistakes on the finished product. And if you ask me, I've yet to come across a Richard Black that I thought played well.

But that's just my opinion.

My Friends Black

Here is a picture of my friends Richard Black. It is constructed of birdseye maple and ebony. I have only played with it once or twice, it is a solid hitter. :D
