Libra full splice personal

thanks to diamond for criticizing my taste incases, what this English bloke is referring to is my Hhair on Cow ,Texas style western case,

You shouldn't even use the word 'taste' in the sentence, lol! Its so far beyond taste its untrue.

Now someone buy this cue quick, its a steal. Libra cues are the rarest of the rare. Cueaddicts are you there............chime in please.

Hello.............

This cue made especially for Jack Potter is 57 inches long, and sports an ob 1 shaft and a regular shaft as well,Jack prefers 13.25 mm shafts ,if you prefer smaller shafts ,I can have then turned down.

Jack Potter is the original maker of the Libra cues,he showed John Nemic how to make cues back in the 80s I believe, together they made this cue,and for that reason I am calling this a Libra cue. It is not an older cue and is not priced high for that reason, but in my opinion it should have interest for collectors as well as players.

Just to add my two cents.........I have done a dozen or more deals with Dean, from cues to case to motorcycles to...... and I want EVERYONE to know Dean gets my highest recommendation as a seller, buyer, trader and friend. :wave2::happydance::bow-down::bow-down:

We are all fortunate Dean spends time on AZ, and anyone contemplating doing a deal with Dean should jump in with both feet.

Sal is a good guy too.

He was just trying to be helpful in pointing out where to veiw pictures.
I have to add a thing or two about this Libra Q.
I had one of the last cues they made. It was very rare mainly because it was a brass pinned cue. It was a Spain blank. I didn't notice that until after Jazz did.
It was a sought after very nice playing cue. This cue should be at least $1500 just because of the rarity it is a Libra with a brass pin!
Nick :)

You're ok in my book to Nick. However, to call this a Libra cue is a little bit of a stretch. According to Potter, it was made by the makers of the infamous "Deano" cue.....So I suppose that all of the Deano cues are now Libra cues. At any rate, I already had a friend call me to say thanks, since he almost bought this cue until he saw the link I provided. Anyway, I'm off to shoot pool.....

High praise indeed, coming from one of the most respected members on AZB.

This is still America and if a player wants to make a little , there's nothing wrong with that ... The cue is worth much more and I have played Jack , so there's some history to it ... A good deal for somebody !!!

NICK SERDULA SAID "Sal is a good guy too. He was just pointing out where to view pictures"

Do you stand by this or do you think "Sal" is crapping on this thread?

( )...yes
( )...no
( )...what is thread crapping?

Food for thought:

In order to eliminate thread crapping/flame wars, etc., we should consider only allowing the OP to update/post on "for sale/trade" threads.

ALL communication from perspective buyers/chirpers would be via email, pm, phone, etc.

think about it...

His reply suprised me too

And his friend may regret letting this cue pass. His coment after my post seemed a little sour. So I have to agree with the crapping thing Adam.
Nick :)

If Nick says something its good enough for me ,I probably provoked the guy with my offer of a detective badge, lets forget that stuff and buy this cue,I could use the money.

full splice cue questions

Let me clear a few things up about this cue and cue maker. When John
Sanchez and I were making Libra cues John Nemic was a very frequent
visitor to our shop. He is an extremely intelligent guy and was very interested in cue making. He helped us a lot and learned very quickly
how to build cues. I always thought he would take it up after he retired
from his job. As for this cue, I contacted John about making me a cue.
I contacted him because I knew that I could go to his shop and do some
of the work myself. Not too many cue makers that will let you do that.
Because of personal reasons I needed to sell a few things. Dean called
me when he saw the cue on here and took it. I have known Dean for
45 years and he is dead solid. Can anyone name someone that has ever
been done wrong by Dean ? Hope this clears things up a little.

You know...I've always wanted to say this - FO-SHIZZLE!!!

(translation - 'for sure' - meaning it sure is nice to have one of the makers step in and clarify things.)

Please refer to story time, another thread with more info designed to help you with your new purchase.

beautiful cue dean, if I hadn't just snapped up that PFD I'd be grabing this one. I'm not a huge fan of the fat shafts, but I have a Phillippi at 13.5mm and it draws like a freak also. I also think profit or not (your definitely entitled) that cue is up for sale at a great price and its got one hell of a unique look to it. Looks like it would set fire to the table :)

good luck with the sale,
