Nice cue

Trade you for it! but PM me a price please especially if the cue is over 21 ounces!
Nick :)

Think?

The last one I had was a little more elaborate than yours. Although it did not have the ivory joint it sold for 13 beans. Good luck with your sale. They are good cues. It's tough to let something like that go but I will start the bidding at 12 beans!
That is if the cue is straight and solid together or apart with no cracks dings or dents.
This may seem like a low offer but rember I have experience with this particular maker's cues. I am sure someone will oFfer more. One other thing, my cue was pristine and I thought it worth way more. You need to list Weights and sizes of ferrels and cue as a whole and a satisfaction gaurentee if you please. Your cue is very simuliar to Howards Davis blank cues and they sold for $1200.00/offer
Good luck
Nick:)

Price on cue is $3500 NON OBO - One sold on her last year with no ivory for $1750 and there is one with a lot of ivory online for $6900 ...so I'm putting this one in the middle.... good luck to all

Am I missing something here or what  ? Nick, didn't you ask the weights, dimensions, size of ferrules(sic), etc. ? Is the cue pristine ? Has it been played ? Does it roll straight, both shafts and butt, together and apart ? Now I ask you, is it a Libra cue :( . C'mon now, give up some info plzzzzzzz. Good luck to you...Tom

Everything is straight and there is no problems with the cue...I'm just waiting on the cue to be weighed! The wrap is good and there are no dingd anywhere in the cue....It is 100% mint with 3 shafts....

I sold the cue!

All I heard was -never herd of them.
I think I would know exactly what it sold for!
Go figure. It had way more work in it than this cue. The work would be a little higher than the ivory in this cue. But either way, good luck. I just made a very comparable offer.
Nick :)

No offense ... I know you have a good reputation on here...but I won't be low balled....aren't you the same person that offered me a $2100 Tim Scruggs for the cue......between curse words on the phone Friday Saturday at 1:00 in the morning......lol....There are no other Libra's around except the one for sale online at $6900.....so you all be the judge....thanks

Look at the shaft wood!
Very nice.

My friend has a Libra BEM player with 11 mm shafts that are quite possibly the stiffest shafts ever.

You cannot go wrong with one of these cues.

Ivory ferrels, butt cap, joint, and the shape in the points, plus the name plate

What about the plug in the end of the pin, I know there were some allegedly made without this, but I've owned three Libra's that had it, it's usually the first thing I'd check. These are monster players, but almost too obscure to get a bead on what they're worth, every one I had played like god, but they were tough sells.

Uh, you mean this one? Kinda a tough comparison, IMO. Holy crap just look at those IVORY POINTS and inlay work!!

Of course that particular site has a habit of, uh, um, er, listing prices that most of us might call somewhat inflated.

Also, our friends at CueAddicts have FOUR really good looking Libras:

Hey, I think it's a very nice looking cue. But i don't think you used appropriate Comparisons to derive at a price.

Finally, you wrote that you can't see the plug in the pictures....do you not have this cue??

Get it right

I told you that you could get the cue if you came with $600.00. Yes I did offer you a trade but it was by no means a even trade.

Any way good luck I am sure you will get a idea soon of the value of this cue and I did sell that cue so the offer is no more. I will be sure to offer you far less next time!
And yes I did swear when I said how little I got for my piece of libra!
Good luck and That cue for a sweet Scruggs is never happening in my world. Unles of course you come with $ome.
Nick :)

One other thing

This is a good cue. But I have never seen a Libra with a ivory dot in the pin. That is another cuemakers Hall mark. And it is absolutely positively a Libra cue!
Nick :)

No pics in BBOC 3ed

Just checked the BBOC 3rd ed, and they don't even picture any Libras. Just a couple of sentances about the company, that's it.
