Some pictures would be helpful.

Off hand, I will bid $1200, assuming it is a 4 point cue. Please let me know when you have pics.

All Kidding Aside........

Nick's assessments of Tim Scruggs cues has consistently been dead-on from what I've seen. Naturally, as any seller is apt to do in this downtrodden market, his asking price is merely a starting point but keep in mind that he's neither a desperate seller or unrealistic. He's actually very reasonable and has a keen understanding of the cue resale market.......but $1200 ain't gonna get anyone a 4 pt veneer Tim Scrugss cues nowadays.

Perhaps a Tim Scruggs Merry Widow or at the very most, a BEM with 4 ebony ponts but a Scruggs cue with veneers.......HA! That would require the cue to be mediocre condition and nothing Nick deals with is of that quality.

If Nick gets around to posting photos, you'll see what I mean about his taste in cues. I betcha if you're serious about the cue, you and he can come to a reasonable arrangement but your arithmetic has to really improve or else don't even bother wasting his time.

Cue

He was merely making a point. I'm sure it's a fine cue and the price is reasonable but I doubt there are few people who are going to send 2100 or so for a cue and not have any photos to support the asking price.

If these cues were such great deals and of the highest quality why didn't you buy them? I think it is you that is wasting our Time with these long posts filled with HOT AIR.. I would say nice cue Nick but I can't see it. I will say good luck with the sale! Nick is a great guy to deal with too!

Your post is banned behavior.
And it is post like yours that will insure if anyone wants a Cue from me they will never see me post it's picture in a for sale thread on this forum.
Everyone, thank him,

BTW NICE CUE...GLWS:thumbup:

Bump for what is probably (?) a good looking cue at a steal (?) of a price! Considering the one piece birdseye cue with no wrap and no points is also valued at around $2,100!!

GLWS.

hi nick,

i bought a 6 point scruggs from you in the past. since you won't do a picture, can you describe the cue? I know from experience with you that the condition of the cue will be awesome.

I assume this cue is off the table so I can post a little off-topic?

1) That thing in grade school where we all got punished for the actions of one or two never seemed real fair or real smart to me.

2) Anyone want to get involved in an over/under on how long until Nick posts a pic of a Scruggs? (nothing against you Nick, Dean sells that way and does great with it and if you go that way, more power to you, but I'm betting that it can't last)

Thanks

Kevin
PS You know guys. Lots of us post our opinions, some of us strongly, some of us willing to argue our point. Sooner or later, we are all going to rub a few members the wrong way (and be rubbed). If our policy is to chase those people we "don't like" around and harass them each time they post, sooner or later, every single thread on AZ is going to turn into a shit storm. I mean we have to admit, this place has become a little mean-spirited as of late, hasn't it?

Hay Kevin

I'll book it.
I may post a picture but not on this sight. Like Shadowmoss I just don't want to share publicly on this forum again.
And every day someone new just like me watches this bull and is turned off by this AZ because it isn't what it was 4 years ago. It has transgressed to sub mediocraty. And when you sell the best it is not worthy.
Private sales and no public pictures seems the remidy.
I don't care what any poster thinks. This is a for sale not an opinion forum.
I never thought the day would come when Ebay would be prefered to AZ but 8ballrat and this new Eric have lowered this sights value substancially. They are personally responsable for my deciding to sell without pictures.
I like selling and buying but as far as it goes my collectioning will stop before I post another picture here.

You are a big boy and I'm sure quite capable of making your own decisions. However, seems to me that your decision is:

1) Cutting your nose off to spite your face

2) Letting those you consider your "enemies", win

Anyway, regardless of what happens in your cue collecting and buying/selling life I wish you the best.

Thanks

Kevin

Nic,

Is there something wrong with you? You post a cue for sale...we ask for some pictures...is there something that you can't seem to comprehend? And, what salesman "red reps" a customer?

BTW, you're not doing *us* a favor by posting and hawking your cues. One more time (you seem dim witted), YOU ARE NOT DOING *US* THE FAVOR BY SELLING. If anything, we are doing YOU the favor of considering to buy your cues. Or not.

You might be the worst salesman in history.
