Wow!

Amazing.

There is a Spain cue on Ebay as well....

I was shooting with my Huebler last night...I am not sure that if I had that one I could leave it alone. I think I would have to chalk it and shoot with it.

The case alone is pretty cool. I have one similar to that for my Huebler. But of course that is a trinket next to the cue itself.

The inlays points are rounded on the cue. Were they done with a pantograph? I didn't see a date, does anybody know when it was done.

CNC and panto use the same cutters. You can't tell them apart just because they are rounded.

To me the Huebler US Open Cue is the best cue from Huebler.

It is one of my all time favorite cues from ANY maker, its really that good.

(ps. No I dont own one, but have always admired it)

+1
I'm not a cue maker, but I imagine a lot of work went into making a US Open cue.

Glad everyone liked that cue. I never look @ eBay a friend told me about it. Thought the boys here would like it. The red velvet vase is sexy too!! That's one heck of a cue for the era it was built in. Super rare too. I have no idea the value of it, sure is something to look at. I met paul Huebler a couple times @ Huebler Cup in Vegas 20 years ago. Very nice person.

My first "real" cue was a Huebler H-14 paid $150 for it in late 83 or early 84, Couldn't play a lick when I bought it. Got to C- speed with it. Butt was to fat for me & I didn't know butts came in different sizes back then. I hit balls with a McD D-??? And I played much better. Sold the H-14(wish I still had it) and moved on.

I still can't play a luck with a fat butt cue, I can adapt to any thing else but that, funny as a banger how I still have the same problem 28 years later(almost not a banger now ;) )

In Reno in 07 (Shane beat JA in finals what ever year that was-big tables) I played a guy in that tourney first round he has a h-14 he owned for almost 25 years he said. He let me hit a few balls with it, it was amazing all the memories of mine woke me up, the feel and hit. Amazing how that works it was a familiar cue to me, not mine he bought it new he told me. Then he beat me :( , it was close tho. He wasn't a banger lol, think I lost by 2 games.

I recently got an H-14 in original condition. Darn lucky find for a steal of a price. I love the cue and play with it a lot. The only cue I have that I like better is my old JOSS...which I have had 28 years.

Funny enough my H-14 Huebler does not impress me as being very fat in the butt. Definitely not a thin butt, but I have very small hands (6 1/2 surgical glove) and it does not feel too thick to me. It seems fairly modern in dimensions to me.

That is one wild looking Heubler, definitely the fanciest one I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing Eric, hope all is well in your world these days.

Huebler Rounded Points

Paul didnt have a CNC machine in the shop
all of his points are panagraphed. also the cue was built about 17 years ago. As far as I know only 2 were made 1 was told and that cue on ebay was given to the VNEA international champion
It one of the nicest Hueblers I know of.
