Lipstick Action - Female Gamblers

I saw Yu Ram Cha rob Rachel Abbink playing races to 11 for $1000 each during the US Open. Yu Ram beat her two straight sets 11-5,11-5.

Then Rachel asked for the 6 ball.

Looked like she needed it.

I am assuming you mean the Men's U.S. Open? You might want to edit your post to be clear, since if it was the Women's, they could each be fined 5Gs,
thanks to your post.

I am a MILLION percent positive that Kelly wasn't part of any business that Cliff may or may not have done in their match.

If Cliff dumped then Kelly had NO PART in it.

However Kelly is liable to beat any human being on Earth in any given set. She may not be able to do it consistently but no one has to think Kelly is the 100% underdog in any single set.

She put down a seven pack in the very first tournament final matches she won in San Diego. She ran out from her break 3 times in the last three games where it was her break of one set and 4 times in the first 4 times she broke in the following set.

Kelly Fisher with some serious seasoning against top male pros would become a SERIOUS contender in any game on a pool table.

I know i have lived under a rock the past ten years or so but i have'nt had the pleasure of watching kelly fisher play . The only talk i've seen of her has been in here . I'd like to see her in action, evidently she's the real deal.

nothing surprises me with cliff . that guy does more business than walmart!

Kelly told me she flat out beat him...not playing 9ball or a short race or getting a spot. She beat him playing 10ball, 10 ahead once and 8 ahead another time on a tough diamond table. Now we can all see why Kelly has earned the top spot against the women. Whatever Cliff did, I can guarantee Kelly wasn't a part of any business.

Only in pool does someone get 58 chances to dump their stake horses and rail sweaters w/o buying a bullet to the head. Johnnyt

think you have to go to Tammy now

TW Jones will probably chime in when she hears about her name being mentioned since she posts on here now and then. She was willing to gamble pretty high, may still be willing to but I don't think she will do much traveling. I knew her in South Louisiana well before she added Jones to her name and I think she was from Louisiana or Texas. Pretty sure she spells her name "Tammy", it may be "Tammie".

Kelly Fisher absorbs pool knowledge like a sponge. Show her something and she will be able to do it in minutes and will never forget how or when to do it.

Anna Kostanian will match up, up to a dime from my experience. As mentioned Vivian will with a horse as will Helena Thornfelt and Monica Webb.

Dont be getting that 38 out yet Johnny, people are just speculating.

Here is the best dump move ever- done by a very well known guy in NY in the early 80's i believe.

He had a big match at the Golden Cue and told a couple of guys not to bet on him because he was dumpng the match. Later a guy comes in looking to bet real high ON this character. Of course word had spread and all the railbirds 'in the know' empty out and bet 5 times what they normally would. You guessed it there was no dump or more likely the dump was in the other direction. The guy wins and unashamedly collects a small fortune and made it out alive somehow.

Disclaimer-I wasnt there but heard it on very good authority.

Yes he was lucky to get out of the Golden Q with that move. I have been in GQ a few times...too many good players for me back then=el nit o me. I had a room in East Islip and I didn't go any further West than Guy's and Doll's in Valley Stream. West of that 75% of the road players and top NY and NJ players hung. I wanted to make money, not find out how good I was. Johnnyt

Hi,

This thread is strictly all about the ladies . I know many of us guys don't take female pool players as seriously as we probably should . This is an open discussion as to which ladies have the most gamble and generate the kind of action note worthy of her male counter part ....

Now, keep in mind, I'm not talking about strong tourney players ( if they don't gamble ) I'm aware of how well Allison and Karen plays in tournaments, I'm talking about the girls that like to get in the grease and gamble!

This thread is searching for the female counterpart of a Scott Frost or a Cliff Joyner ( although she does'nt have to be a world class biter ) which ladies out there will play for the cash?

edit : I know 1000 jokes combining the words "action" and "ladies" so please try to keep the one liners to a minimum, thanx:smile:

Pam (Treadway) Cimarelli's name comes to mind , she's a stone cold killer
whether the opponents male or female.

NOBODY takes her lightly around here.
