List of Players for US Open 2007...

I checked the website and there is no list of players yet. Does anybody know who's coming - confirmed or not?

If somebody confirms Efren will be there -- I'll book my hotel right away :rolleyes:

The list comes up a few weeks before the event.

A players list is not usually available until a couple of weeks before the event, if at all. Many of the players drag their feet in sending in their entry fee.
Just think about a list of pro players you would like to see and then assume 95%+ will be there.

I have read somewhere that Efren said he had 2 major tournaments left to attend this year and that they are the US Open and the WPC so I think he will be there.
 
when is the last time Efren was not at the open? i have only been there a few times 1st time year 2000 last time 2005 and he was there each time - I know he won it before 2000 cause they had all the previous winners come out in I think 2000 and he was part of the group.
 
are there any open qualifiers at all anywhere????..i know there are some in southern ontario...anywhere else???

There are others.
The recent Virginia State 9-Ball Championship was a qualifier for the Open, with the winner receiving paid entry to the Open, plus some cash.
I don't know where other qualifiers are or where you can find a list of them. You may try contacting Barry Behrman, at his pool room, Q-Masters, in Virginia Beach, Va. He may be able to tell you where other qualifiers are located.
 
i know of a qualifier fo rthe open in the warren michingan area..within an hour..going to be a fair size tournament..anyone interested
 
efren nor busta were there last year.....much to my disappointment, im sure hoping to see them this year

IIRC, last year, they were both committed to play in a tournament in Asia, which their sponsor, Puyat, wanted them to attend.
When the IPT forced the U.S. Open to change their dates, they screwed up a lot of schedules.
 
I'll be there on Oct. 17-20. Come up and say hi to me if you see me. I want to meet the AZ'ers who are there.
