OK- I'm an old guy and we are mostly electronically challenged....so I click the link on the link that says Turning Stoine Live...I get a web site that shows all the tables and live scores, but I keep getting some old Rodney Morris match. I don't get it. Any ideas?

I don't think they've started yet.

I read on FB that Ewa Mataya is playing my friend Don Steele her next match. Ewa won her first match. Don Steele is from western Pennsylvania, and he's a strong shooter. He and his wife travel together to various pool events. They are really nice people. I'm not sure how old Don is, but I'd guesstimate he's in his seventies, and he still has game. ;)

Here is a photo of Don Steele from Greensburg, PA.

Thanks guys. My mistake. I thought first one was at 10.

I loved this tournament. I played in the first couple. One of my little life disappointments is what happened when I was playing Luke Salvas. Now it's not every day I get to play a pro or a venue like the tournament floor. Anyway, Diana Hoppe takes several shots of me while I was playing. I kind of forgot about it and after about 3 months I remembered and called her. My heart sank when I heard "Oh, you were the older man playing Luke? I'm sorry, I just deleted all those photos yesterday."

What year was it? I might be able to find some. :)

Oh, I just learned that Ewa Laurance and Don Steele play at 4 p.m., Eastern Time. :)

She said they are going to be on the TV table.

Ewa is playing now on the free stream, practicing for the upcoming match. She's 49 years old, but you would never believe it by looking at her. She's in great shape, has muscle definition in her arms even. Wow!

Ewa might have her hands full with Don. He can catch a gear and go full speed ahead. :)

Dennis Hatch and Karen Corr are up tonight. That's going to be a good match!

Playing same time as the Ewa match, so no watching that one.

I see Ray Mac playing Tom D, they are from the same home room, Snookers in RI. Gotta love it when you travel a few 100 miles to a tournament and play the guy you see every other day back home LOL

Yeah, that happened to Keith and Ryan McCreesh at the U.S. Open one year -- first round on the TV table, no less. Keith lost. :p

Ray won the very first Joss tourney at Turning Stone. Shorty should give him a run for his money, though.

Dennis and Karen are playing now? Wow! I thought it was later tonight.

We're good friends with Don Steele and his wife, and he's playing Ewa. Hard to pull against either one. I like both of them. Ewa and I share the same birthday. She is *exactly* 10 years younger than me. ;)

Actually Mike Dechaine just knocked out Steve Goulding who is the owner of Snookers and I believe Mike's sponsor. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you!

Yep, if you look at the tables, Dennis and Karen are on table 15.

I have that AccuStats match with Keith and Ryan hehe. It always stands out because their names are so similar. I did not know they were buddies though. My son ran into this a bit ago, we went to our local tournament and my brother-in-law (his uncle) came up with a good friend of the family. My son ended up playing his uncle first round and our friend the second! Unfortunately he lost both sets because he hung up a 9 ball and then the second game he lost in a race to 2 was a lucky 9 ball combo, he played very well but lost.

I actually don't watch Keith's matches more than once or twice because his style is so different that it's tough to look for something to learn from and I'd never recommend to a new player to "go watch Keith play to learn the fundamentals" LOL.
