It'll be interesting to see who's on board with the color commentary and who's the side kick. This aspect of the game is soooooo important. Hey Joe Rogan works for me. Good luck Gals and ESPN.

Please, not "really, really, really." For a guy who has been in the booth for tens or hundreds of matches, nothing ever insightful. His wife, on the other hand, is really, really, really good.

very cool being live.

The only bad thing I see is there's only about 5-6 other women players in attendance this match. They should be sitting there supporting this 150%.
There was a lot more girls sitting in the audience for the last match.

I had to downlaod something, it took maybe 10 minutes. No biggie really, great to see pool played live :D

Monica Webb beat Karen Corr 4-0 and 4-0 with good safety play and running out when needed.
Karen looked off balance and uncomfortable the whole match. She missed a couple uncharacteristic shots. But, grats to a 3rd place finish for her.

The quality of the stream is good so far. Kudos to the ladies for getting this live on ESPN.

Damn it!!!

I got stuck talking to my neighbor over the wall. he gets long winded sometimes and I missed the Finals!!

Who won and what was score? Any details would be appreciated.

Alison accidentally yelled right in my face last night. She had the nicest breath...
Her stroke is ridiculous in person. Ridiculous. Ga Young is also pretty electric to see live. I highly suggest it.

The number of games shown today is so small that I'll just summarize the break stats here rather than start a thread about it.

The conditions included: Diamond 9-foot table, Aramith Tournament balls, measles cue ball, Delta-13 Elite rack, alternate breaks, referee racks, break from anywhere behind the line, jump cues allowed, all slop counts, and a 45-second shot clock with one 30-second extension per game (two extensions in a sudden-death game).

The three 9-ball matches shown today were:
- Ga Young Kim def. Allison Fisher 3-4, 4-3, 1-0
- Monica Webb def. Karen Corr 4-0, 4-0
- Ga Young Kim def. Monica Webb 4-0, 4-0

Overall breaking results -- The breaker made at least one ball (and did not foul) 61% of the time (19 of 31), won 48% of the games (15 of 31), and broke and ran 16% of the games (5 of 31). Three of the 5 B&R games were by Kim on her 4 breaks in the finals.

I don't think any meaningful comparisons can be made with other events because of the limited data.

There was more there. A lot of them were standing behind the main camera.
