Up for sale is a mint condition Alex Alpert cue. You can read the review I wrote here last month, but I have had this cue for probably 4-5 months. I have played with it 2-3 times for a few hours each, so it is very lightly played.
I ordered this cue directly from Alex, and it is his 6th cue to date. Alex has somehow leaped years ahead of his tenure with execution, and this cue shows it. I'm asking SOLD, which is a steal for any cue of this caliber and level of inlay/craftsmanship. I always offer money-back guarantee if the cue is not as described.
I did notice a few flaws in the pics, but what you see are glares from the camera, dust, and probably a dog hair or two. There is no damage whatsoever.
Specs:
4 points of ebony into bem
8 veneers (paper/regular) of black, blue, grays - BRIDGED
ebony buttsleeve
ivory hoppe ring
ivory inlays of a "new age" take on ovals and propeller windows
black elephant ear wrap
stainless steel 5/16x14 pin
butt - 15.5oz
shaft 1 - 4.2oz, ivory ferrule w/ pad, triangle tip - 13.04mm
shaft 2 - 4.3oz, ivory ferrule w/pad, triangle tip - 13.08mm
This cue has a nice solid hit to it and is a keeper, but an opportunity to regain possession of a cue I shouldn't have sold has come up.
