For crying out loud, why doesn't America's Most Wanted take this case to the television public?

For crying out loud, why doesn't America's Most Wanted take this case to the television public?

It's unbelievable they've had video of this guy and nobody had recognized him. We need to start a campaign to flood Americas Most Wanteds email box. It should shake every pool player in America to the core to read this story. He could be stalking his next victim and possibly a pool player he thinks is carrying a large amount of cash.

We need to quit passing the buck and step up and do something here. We need to organize and come up with a game plan. We MUST get this guy off the streets before he strikes again!!!

Tomorrow morning I am going to call America's Most Wanted Public Relations department or whomever will listen to me bellyache.

Anyone have any telephone numbers for anyone at America's Most Wanted website?
Thanks in advance.

While i agree with every word you say. AMW is flooded with calls and from the police to profile a case. They should have the Profile channel running 24/7 it would help big time with violent crime.

It's just simply amazing with the technology today that this crime hasn't been solved yet..video plus i'm sure he left fingerprints all over especially as much as he was drinkiing in the video..they can solve other crimes with a micro fiber sometimes but no clues with all this evidence to work with is just amazing...it's almost like they not trying...i know that aint the case but just seems like it.

Here's another two-page article that appeared in the Sun Herald, according to Google, 5 hours ago.

Again, not one mention of the website that was set up to seek justice for Mike Surber: http://www.MikeSurber.com.

I still do not understand why they would *not* include the website with information on it in any media release. It makes absolutely no sense to me.

A few highlights of the article:

Police said the man is now considered the chief suspect in the capital murder case, which is a murder committed during the commission of another felony crime, in this case robbery.

Police believe the two arrived at Surber’s home around 5 p.m. It’s believed that the man stabbed Surber to death within seconds of walking through the front door of his home. Based on the wounds, police believe the suspect knew what he was doing. Surber’s cash was never found.

Police later tracked the suspect’s movements in and out of state, with confirmation that he was seen in the Richland area the weekend after the killing. He also was spotted in Villa Rica, Ga., the week before the murder with an unknown female.

The suspect, police said, is known to skip out on bar tabs. When he was at the Gulfport club, he gave a bartender two different credit cards, both of which were declined. He later paid with a $10 bill, but never ordered another item. The suspect is white, and has a receding hairline, with his hair pulled back in a ponytail when he was last seen here. He is in his late 40s to mid-50s, between 5 feet, 8 inches, and 6 feet tall, and from 175 to 185 pounds.

Meanwhile, Surber’s family is also contacting “America’s Most Wanted” to see if they will consider doing a more in-depth story on the case. A small blurb about the Surber case was aired in the past.
