Like the title says, I'm looking for a Chas Clements case that I had made back in 00-01 or somewhere through there. I traded it to Scott Murphy at Derby City in a monster Szamboti trade. I've kind of been missing it, and wonder if anybody here has seen it. Thanks to John Barton for allowing me to use a few pics from his gallery. It's very unique, if you've seen it you would not have forgotten it. Thanks in advance

its ugly.....................

First off, a whole lot of red to this guy with zero class. Secondly, I see why you want it back. That's a hell of a lot of very nice tooling and dying there! I hope you're able to find it. If not, I'm sure John will be happy to make you another.. for a nominal fee =)

Good luck!

Chris

That Chas Clements case is my favorite case of all time.

I'd take it over any case I've ever seen....

Except Ernie's Silver Ginacue case.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I'm afraid Bogey is probably right about it being overseas, but they have the Internet over there so maybe there is hope.

Hi Mike,
Hope all is well buddy.
I thought maybe Brad Simpson might have had it. I might be confusing him with someone else though. It's a awesome case.
Good luck with the search.

I think you might find Victor Stein, author of Billiard Encyclopedia, has it. He bought several in the last 15 or so years as he found them, and I believe he still has them. He works at Blatt Billiards in NYC, or they know how to reach him. For the right price he may consider selling to you, if he has yours.

Good luck,

Will Prout

That's right.
I had the wrong name.

Thanks Will, I called Blatt, unfortunately due to the downturn in the economy, Victor no longer works there, they are going to try and forward my contact info to him. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Chas Clements elephant

Chas Clements told me this is the only envelope style cue case he made with elephant skin.

Great case - I use it all the time - you can't hurt the elephant hide and it's light and easy to carry. Case holds 1 butt and three shafts.
