some folks call it a player auction but it is a side pot on top of the tournament money where you or the player can bid to win that player in the auction if he finishes in the top four you will win how much that spot pays.

The funny thing is this last month when I started my calcutta two Denton police officers came in and sat at the table next to our room. I went over and shut the door and continued as I was..Everyone got a good kick out of that one...

THE LAW HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. IT IS THE TABC AND THEIR ABILITY TO REVOKE ONES LIQUOR LICENSE! THE TABC IS FAR ABOVE THE LAW, THE TABC CANNOT DO ANYTHING TO ME PERSONALLY FOR CONDUCTING A CALCUTTA. THEY CAN HOWEVER SHUT THE PLACE DOWN ON THE SPOT, TAKE THE MONEY AND REVOKE LICENSE.

Lewis I know the difference between law and TABC. I also know that Denton county only has 2 or 3 TABC officers whom of all I've seen or met. I did work in bars for 5 years here before I quit so I could finish school.
Honestly I don't think that if TABC is taking the time to watch these threads because they don't even follow up on local reports half the time. Either way everyone has to make their own decision and be smart about it. If they show up at my tournament it won't be because they read something on here it'll be because of a snitch, and if it comes to that I'll find that snitch, and well....
