What kind of cam did you use ? I wonder if my Fuji FinePix S1000 can do that.

any camera that allows you to set the shutter speed or has a slow shutter speed mode (night mode might let you do this) will work

Illumination times Shutter-speed times aperture = total amount of light on film/sensor.

Illumination is constant (table light)
Shutter speed times the duration.
(small*) aperture allows the image not to be washed out. (*) a small aperture has a big number in the denominator of F/stop. Look for F/stops near F/16 and F/22 and experiment for best results.

Nice images, by the way. This has got my intrest up in doing similarly; Thanks a lot.

Sorry for the late answer..

Canon 350D

Shutter speed of 2 seconds.
Aperture was 22 (I'm not sure, but It was a hgh number)

And of course use a tripod, and I used a remote control to take the picture not to shake the camera.

I was trying to do this also but was having a hard time when to snap the photo. I had the shooter counting down when he was going to shoot and timing the snap on that, but results were sporadic.

Ideas?

I like the pictures. Nice job! Are you using a tripod or is there another person holding the camera?

I can do this with my Nikon J1, we can also get a remote control for shooting pictures or videos. I've considered buying it, this is tempting me now.
