Hi AZers,

i got lucky to get another Masterpiece for my little collection.
A Cue from a great Cuemaker and Pool Player. A typical floating point design in ebony, ivory and silver.
What can i say more, in my opinion that´s the perfect COGNOSCENTI.

What do you think !?

Erich,

You and I have the EXACT same tastes in pool cues. I have wanted that cue from Bill for over a year. I could not come up with the funds. That is the best cog i've ever seen.

Great job!

Hey Craig,
it looks like we realy have the same tast. Is that the third cue we both wanted to have or had !
Unbelivable, but it´s nice to hear you like it, too.
Thanks for your kind words,
Erich

One of the nicest cogs I've ever seen. Congrats.

Thanks for the compliment Tommy.
I saw that cue on Bill´s Homepage (Cornerstone) and knowed i wanted it.
And when i saw it life at the EXPO this year - WOW - i fall in love.
I have done some research in calenders and Billiard Encyclopedias and it looks like as that was the Cog. from Keith Walton. And i think it´s pictured
in the calender "The Art of American Cuemakers", too.

Maybe somebody out there can help me here a little bit !? :shocked2:
Regards,
Erich

Come on AZers,

are there only three guys out there who like or don´t like that cue !?
Or are my pictures that bad ? I know they are not perfect and i would be happy for more advice, too !
My pics are perfectly sharp in the middle, but tend to be not so sharp at the side - any idea !?
And i allready use a tripod !!

Thanks in advance,
Erich

Masterpiece from Joe Gold...

I have to admit that most of the Cogs I've seen usually have the same look or design (except for the type of wood...you can spot them a mile away) however, that has to be his best piece of work by far. Truly amazing and absolutely beautiful!

Congrats to you on this work of art...

Great looking cue, how does the hit with the ivory joint compare to the standard phenolic/implex/plastic joint? Thanks for sharing the pics.

Thanks
-don

Alright I'll confess.....I've never been a fan of Cogs visually. However, that being said every time I visited Bills site I found myself looking at all the macros of this cue. It is truly spectacular and I'm glad you have it as I no longer have to look at the price knowing I can't have it.....haha. Hope you enjoy it.

Hi Don,
thanks for the kind words and the hit is fantastic
I have no idea about other Cogs, because that´s my first one, but this one has realy a great hit, amazing feel !

@ tonyboy, Richardson and Mike !

Thank you all, for your kind works and compliments. I am realy happy to got my hands on this great cue,
because i am one of the guys who thinks that Joe Golds Designs are amazing - i like most of them
Thanks again and best regards,
Erich

WOW somms, that´s the opposite with me.
I always liked Joe Golds floating point designs and long time ago i held one in my hands. A Ebony, Ivory and Silver piece like that.
Not as complicated but realy great, too. Since that time i often tried to get one, but they where often not Black / White / Silver,
and that for me means everything in a Classic Cog. So like you i looked at these macros often, and then i took it before anybody else could do.

Thanks for you words, Erich
