Well I knew today would be a special day from the time I got this morning. Around 4:00pm this afternoon a young lady walked into my store wanting to buy one of my Custom Cues. Well it just so happens that I had a few ready for sale, but the one she wanted was out of her price range. Well to make a long story short she asked me if I would take some cash and a trade for the cue, like I always tell people it all depends upon what they have to trade.

Well around an hour later she comes back to my store and hands me a Willie Hoppe Titlist two piece cue, well to say the least I could not believe my eyes as she handed me an Ebony Titlist. Now this is not the first one I have owned, fact is I have two others that I have put aside, hwoever, this cues looks perfect for a conversion. The cue weights 22 oz and according to the label it was made in the late 1940's and it is still straight. This cue is going to be my new personal player, so when the conversion is complete I will post some additional photo's.

I'm sure you gave her a great deal on one of your customs.
Nice!

Actually I traded her a cue that was for sale for $1200 that came with two shafts. She was very happy and I was very happy so at the end of the day no one lost anything.

The cue below is the one I traded for the Ebony Titlist, the photo's were taken last year before the cue was finished

Thanks for the comments guy's, but like I said I have two others that are in my collection. However, both are Brunswick model 26 1/2 cues and they are one peice. I though about converting one of them, but now I think I will just leave them alone.

Man it has been a great day:smile:

Craig,

Send me that cue, it is dark rosewood you have no use for it :D
I will take good care for it.
