Looking for a cue maker that will make a plain jane or merry widow cue for 300$

I have been extremely respect- and grateful to everyone trying to give me tips, the only one instigating here are you, Joey, the Bruggen guy and ever else that felt insulted by my question and started acting like a girl that got felt up at prom night, yet on the topic of Robinson making a cue like I wanted for 250$, you all are quiet as church mouses.

Of course there is frustration. You asked the same question 10 years ago with a $400 budget. After 10 years your budget should have gone up with inflation not down. It's been said already, but... A true custom from a specific person just doesn't normally fit within your parameters. A "custom" from one of the production companies (Schmelke, Pechauer, etc) is a better fit. There is a video online where a guy makes a cue in less than 10 minutes (time lapsed). It could be $300-$400 IDK, maybe, but will it last, play ok?

Again, Robinson would have made me the cue I wanted for 250$ but he not doing custom work anymore so whats wrong with me trying to see if there is another maker out there with similar deal(?)

And you should learn the difference between ''dictating'' and ''asking''...

By the way, the majority is not always correct as a certain Galileo Galilei would attest to...

Ok you are trolling. I tried to reply as polite as I could, but your retort is your normal empty jab.

I wasn’t giving $ advice. It was a legitimate question for budgeting reasoning.

You are dictating. Yes you did ask first, but given a resounding answer with the reasons why they oppose your opinion, five pages later you still assert we are all wrong and someone else should give you the same insane deal one person offered you.

Yes many historical examples of people ignorant of the facts making incorrect assumptions. You have this situation reversed.

How many years ago did Robinson offer you that deal? I'll assume 2019-ish when he first started offering cues....

Even then he was asking $350 for Cocobolo 😉
