Looking For a Cue Picture

About two(ish) months ago or so someone posted pictures of a cue that had Japanese writing inscribed in the butt section with each of the rectangular white inlays housing a word in Japanese, before you ask I have searched the entire site with no luck.

The reason I ask is I just found it to be a stunning cue & meant to subscribe to the thread at the time & forgot.

Any chance it is Zen cues or North Demon cues? Zirroe (Eddie Cohen) uses his name in hebrew as his logo.
 
Thanks for the help plshrk22 & RascalDoc but the cue I'm trying hard to describe had four rectangular white points (I think
they're called) with a Japanese word in each & I do know it was not done using scrimshaw, that much I remember.

imho he could look for a zen cue, but unfortunatly the search engine works for 4 or more letters :(

I think it was North Demon. He had a friend posting pics of his cues for him before he started posting. Each word represented something about someone he knew if I'm not mistaken.
 
Unfortunately it's not Allen but thanks for the help, the cue was black in colour so made with either ebony or cocobolo wood.

Can you give a better description of the cue?

From what I gather, it sounds like an ebony butt with ivory windows and scrimmed/engraved Japanese characters inside them.

What did the forearm look like?

If I remember the forearm was either ebony or cocobolo, as the cue was completely dark wood wise.

Sorry I can't give a better description, I'd probably be able to find it if the forum archive went further back than the middle of May.

I believe I saw the cue on here sometime in March this year.

You can.Scroll to the bottom and click on the drop down box below. Switch to 'Last 100' and then click Search. You'll see every thread started in the last 100 days. You can go further if you want (last year/two years, etc.).
