looking for a hard tip

Herc hard is indeed a good hard tip. I have been using SuperPro for a while now & beleive it to be the best tips I have ever used. Some think they are too hard, but I like them. They have efficient energy transfer, hold chalk well, easily induce spin and need very little maintenance. I have been using them as my standard tip for a while on my customs, but will now begin offering Kamui medium & med/soft. Some people just can't handle the feel & some don't like it. For me personally, the SuperPro is the best hard tip. My next in line would be herc hard & Sumo.

It depends on what you want it for. WB Water Buffalo is a terrific hard tip. If you want to go harder than that for maybe break cues, phenolic or White Diamond are good. I'm new to the White Diamond, but I really like it. I almost always made balls on the break with my WB Water Buffalo and was hoping the White Diamond wouldn't be too much different. At first, I didn't like it, but I used the tip pick on it and I think it's a great tip.
 
Mike, I got them direct from Competition Sports. They are cheap, but good hard tips.
 
I feel the herc 23 layer and the super pro are excellent tips alot better thwn the standard water buffalo tips. With the layered tips I get plenty of english on smooth shots as for the wb tips everyone I have put on everyone wants it cange the same day if not the next day..
