looking for a Jensen cue

I know this is a bit out of your budget but you will not find a better set of playing cues for the money. I was going to put them up for sale in a few days and I saw your post.

A Jensen player and matching jump/break. The player cue comes with three shafts with ivory ferrules. One shaft is new and unchalked. The jump/break comes with two break shafts. It really is a great set. The set is $2500 shipped/paypal fees. Let me know if you might be interested.

Matching set

This is something you don't see everyday. Great set of cues, just way, way outside of my budget. Thanks for the reply though. These are closer to what I am looking for.
 
I am using a really nice Jensen cue that Dan Tull picked up for a decent price. I called him and he would take 800 for it plus the McDermott. I am using a Mezz shaft but if I recall correctly the shafts are full 13mm and in great shape. I will post a picture here in a few minites. It is a classice style hoppe Jensen with a black leather wrap, four ebony points into birdseye maple with orange, green, and maple veneers, solid silver rings, ebony butt with a nice ivory ring. I know the Butt weighs 15.3 oz.

Here are a few pictures of the cue, the pictures suck. I am leaving for Richmond for a few days tomorrow but if you want me to take better pictures Friday let me know. I can also get a few pictures of the shafts and measure and weigh them Friday night. The cue looks much better than these pictures. I cannot get over how much the butt looks like rosewood in the pictures, the butt and the points look the same to me.

Jensen Heaven!!

I would like to thank all that have posted here. I never knew there were so many drop dead awesome Jensens out there. It is as though I have died and went to Jensen Heaven!! I wonder what the record is for the most JC's in a single post? (hint) Love to see more as I am sure others would as well......

Getting ready to head off to work for the evening. I am still waiting on a few more pm's and info on some of the above cues. I am also waiting on pricing of a new Jensen from Mike. If the price of a new Jensen is just a few hundred or so $ more than a used one, I may go that rout to get exactly what I am looking for. Another Idea I had was to post $ amounts in this thread and move up in $ amounts of 25 until somebody says "SOLD". This would be like a reverse auction...just an idea at this time. I think this has been a great post thus far with a lot of interest and why not make it that much more interesting. I would be proud to own any of the above Jensen's.

I have somebody looking this weekend (maybe) for me. I will ask that the pictures(if any) and pricing to be posted here for all to see. This person is local and is able to swing by his house. I asked if he could do this for me and see if there was anything in my price range that was available for sale. I have no idea what will become of this. We will just have to wait and see this weekend. BTW, your thoughts on my idea?

I have seen at least 3 cues that I could consider owning.......and that are in simular price ranges. I would love to see more pics and specs of what other JC's are out there floating around. I would also like to listen to a few offers that are just too good to walk away from.

With Mikes permission I will post pictures, prices and specs of his inventory. Mike is pretty anal about pushing items though merely because he's a one person business, and that's the way he likes it. But I'm sure he won't mind the chance to push some cues. If anyone is interested in a cue you can PM me with a description and price of what your looking for; just in case he doesn't want his entire inventory out.

I will surely be looking for the picutes/prices. I would like to see all options and make a good informed buying decision. I don't have a ton of money to throw around or waiste. This is why I am taking my time and looking at everything twice. If nothing else, I owe Stone Cold a beer.....

No sir, I have not settled on a cue yet. I am waiting to see some pictures of new cues with prices and for specs on another...I will post which one I pick. Maybe I will even get a few comments on my choice.
