Looking for a review

I am making some very nice custom Sneaky Pete cues and haven't been able to get serious buyers on this site yet. It was suggested that maybe I have someone do a review of my work to increase my credibility. My question being newer to this site is who is a good person to do this? Can someone out there help me get pointed in the right direction?

There are ton's of reputable people here. My suggestion would be to click the "community" button at the top of the page, go to members, then click "repution". Pick someone in the first 3-4 pages (top 100).

*edit* Depending on where you are, I would be happy to give a comprehensive review of your cue and return it to you. As a matter of fact I will be helping review all of the anonymous custom cues involved in the "cue build off" (read thread here) when they get here to Tampa, If I had youe cue around that time I could compare it to those cues. Im not sure the exact date all the cues will be here in Tampa though.

You might also go to the Cue review section and see who has done the most reviews.... or even ask a mod to move this thread to that section.

Or as Randy suggests send it to Randy or Scott Lee, they work with alot of players so for sheer numbers of people to try your cues and for there reputions you cant go wrong.

I don't really know what you mean "Serious buyers on this site"? Most small cue makers sell almost all of their cues locally. I suggest you establish a local market in your area and begin to build a reputation.

perhaps your right, but it's somewhere to start.

you should offer roscoe, you are a "cue peddler" and would certainly qualify to assess a cue.
 
I guess you could start with a brief history of yourself and your cue building.

Where do you get the premade blanks?
Do you make your own shafts?
How long have you been making cues?
What do you do for tips/ferrules?
Do you retaper the entire cue?

Things like that are my questions just out of the gate.... You may also want to provide pricing and options if you're looking to sell anything.

We buy our shafts mainly from Atlas and use many different brands of house cue. Just depends on the wood grain and what the customer wants. We are just starting and have been putting cues together for about 8 months now. Our staff of builders include myself and an experienced manufacturing engineer that comes up with the way to build our products. This way we give our customers the best quality possible for the cheapest price. We do not currently have a lathe that is set up to cut tapers. They are very expensive and we just are not to that point yet so all tapers for us are done by hand. This means we do not make our own shafts from scratch. Ferrules we make ourselves out of blank materials and cut to fit. For break cues we are even making "monster breakers" that have full 14mm shafts and custom colored fiberglass ferrule/tips made by us. Tips we put on whatever the customer wants. We are even going to start making adjustable weighted cues. You requested pricing so I have attached a brochure even though selling from this thread was not my intention.

Below is a cue that we finished up this weekend.

I think you are a long way from looking for a review. You have to start building cues first. From what you describe, a review could be a big mistake at this point. Does the cue in the pictures have any finish on it?

The cue in the picture is finished with a burnished wax. We do respray cues but this one was made for a customer that wanted it like this. As far as the price I am not trying to sell my cues at a custom makers price where you would expect them to not use blanks and make everything from scratch. I think that has been misscommunicated in this. Our cues sell with a laminated shaft starting at $175 which for a laminate shaft I feel is very reasonable.
 
I'm in KCMO, I'm more than willing to give it a review, but don't know if my credentials will be up to parwith the big dawgs here.
