Looking for a shaft!!

I have been snooping around this site for about a year and its time for me to break out of my shell! ...
I need a shaft for my Gilbert. After getting one stolen from my bag. Then going on tilt and snapping one in half I'm out!(I know ... I know ...)
I've been playing with the shaft from my jump break but that's not going to cut it for much longer.
I would prefer a Gilbert shaft butttt ...
Would also really like to find one with matching ring work but if I could find something that looked decent I would be open to that also.
Orrrrr if someone can help me get ahold of Andy, which almost seems impossible!! ...
I also realize I'm new so I would be willing to do whatever makes you feel safe with the sale.

Shaft?

You might want to consider sending the butt to Andy so he can clean up the ringwork and make you a shaft at the same time..I think you'd be money ahead especially if the butt is one of his more expensive ones..If you can't get ahold of Andy, I guess my advice is pretty empty, Huh? Good luck to you, and I will keep a sharp eye out for some kind of a shaft for ya..Dan

I have about 14 3x8/10 shafts that will fit your gilbert . Email me your pictues and i'll post . I can let on go for 110 shipped , Also do you have paypal that will help also with payments..
 
@ ToomnyQs ... That's the plan this summer but I'm laid off right now and this Gilbert's my bread and butter.

He's right

I talked to Andy in Nov and he will build you one to match for $150. Just send it to him with a letter of what you want done and your contact info and it's a done deal, but I would still call him first.

Sorry the reason why i asked you about paypal i know someone that has a shaft and i might be able to get . But i'll will say you can't get a shaft from Andy for under 150 . My friends shaft is has abcd check rings , Like the ones on his break Jump cues. Let me know ..

I will let you know very soon. I appreciate it very much. Im going to wait and see if Andy replys to my two emails, two voice mails or the letter I just sent him?!?!
 
Andy is in the process of swapping over to a cell phone based internet provider... he was on dial-up. It might be quite some time if he ever gets your emails. Best thing to do is call him. His wife will probably answer the phone but she is knowledgeable and a nice lady.
