Inexpensive....im talking 1000-1750 And yes, it is a buyers market.. I am working a deal right now on a DPK...also a Black Boar...I am glad I took my dads advice....always rat hole some cash.....its now paying off... I have so many freaking cues its not even funny... My uncle owns a cabinet shop and they are making me 12 cue display cases that hold 10 butts, 20 shafts each...my wife is just scratching her head and asking why I need so many expensive cues...I just say Baby, this is an investment:thumbup:

I have a Satin SW and a BEM Bluegrass. Both are 2007 models and are 100% mint. The SW is unchalked. Both of these cues come with a 100% money back guarantee. I have PM'd the specs and prices to you.

I'm sorry. I don't get this one at all. Why does the wife need such a cue ? I'd just as soon shoot with my Lucasi with a matching 314 (an original Z shaft is still available at seyberts, with the matching Lucasi ring) than with my Bluegrass. Not because of the hit, but you get equal hit with plastic butt that can be whacked from here to HK without significant damage. Wonderful freedom at league night. I just had KJ put a 314 on a D-16 McDermott and that's a killer at league, too. Looks really beat up, but hits like the nuts. Once she gets used to a better cue, THEN you can give her one from your collection and it would seem to me that she'll get the whole deal of cue investment. Good luck, regardless.

They are not all expensive cues. I really only have 18 high end cues "2500-4500" , I bought all these cues before I quit playing pool back in 1993.. I do have 3 Jerry Franklin SW cues that are really my pride and joy. I bought 1 of them from a very well known pool player that I met while playing at the Green Room in Atlanta Ga. (been a long time but I think it was called the Green Room) the rest are just cues that I aquired from different sources and had refinished...heck, I even have the very first cue I ever owned in there that was refinished and looks pretty (plays like a cane pole though) its a 7 piece hand carved cue my dad bought me at a flea market when i was 12. I just like collecting cues that catch my eye.

Really, the reason I want to buy my wife a cue like this is....she wants one. There are a cpl people in our league that one guy plays with a beat to hell Black Boar, his wife has a really pretty Blue Grass. My wife has played with one of my SW before and she likes how it hits. She also played with the womans BG and she likes how it hits as well. She would want a SG simply because Eric picks the prettiest wood for his cues. She is wanting something that is, her words "Her". She has always allowed me to buy whatever cue I could afford since we first met in 1993, now, that I bought my 9yr old son a custom cue and he has shown an interest in playing, she has besome interested. So, in order to make her happy, and keep her interested, whatever she asks for, she will get. On the flip side...if I get her what she asks for...maybe she will see why I am so crazy about pool cues. I love them and always have..It just amazes me at the beauty in a cue.

And yes, I feel ya on the riding mower part...I bought my wife a brand new XMark Zero turn rider for mothers day..

I know this cue was not on your list but what about this Tad for 1500 OBO? The cue is a jam up player. I apologize for the pics not being the best.

Thanks, John

Sounds like a plan. Just remember that there are plenty of phenominal cuemakers out there aside from Richard and Laurie. Of course, you could always give here a 'boti......just kidding.
