Hello all. My name is Larry Nevel and I am in desperate need of finding a sponsor. I have been playing pool for 20 years now, accomplishing many goals in pool but I guess have always been in the wrong place at the wrong time. I live in a little city in wisconsin where pool has dwindled its way down to pretty much nothing. I dont know how alot of these players got the sponsors they have. I really dont know how to go about getting one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Larry, you have always been a very respectable player. I'm sure you will be able to get what you need. From my experience I have ofter found that when things get tough you should dig back to your roots and see where help has come from in the past and try that again.

Give me a call when you get a chance I lost your cell #.

Larry, welcome to AZBilliards. :)

I just last night watched your IPT match against Putnam for the first time. I was blown away at your safety game (as I think everyone else was too when you 3 fouled him). I'm sure you've heard it a million times (god knows I heard Mike Sigel say it a 100 times on TV) but you have the best break I've ever seen!

I'm not sure if this will help you at all, but it couldn't hurt?

www.sponsorhouse.com

A friend of mine Bill Caulder (whom's son owns that website) sponsors a couple lower level girls on the WPBA, and he used to sponsor a couple players for the tour years ago. I'll hit him up and see if he's interested.

Good luck!

dang i wish i had a sponser worthy bankroll larry is top notch and can beat anyone someone who knows will snatch him up in no time. Good luck to you larry this is a tough game to get going in but once you get there you have so much ability you'll be there for a long time.

Well Larry...if you hadn't beat me at the Smokey Mountain Shootout.
Seriously...call my friend Rex Allred. He owns Allred roofing here in Charlotte. He sponsors Jeff Abernathy & Ron Park....I'm sure he would actually like to sponsor some top talent who would actually take the money and enter the event.;)
PM me for his phone#...I may be able to set this up for you.
Rex is a great guy with a ton of cash...I hate to see him keep on & keep on blowing it.

Agreed about your saftey game, very well played. Why shoot 8 shots when you only have to shoot 3 great ones? Well played. Your break is killer man. Good luck with the sponsorhip, people would be folls not to have you endorse them!

I made a few calls & set something up...but no PM from Larry...so I guess he's not that interested.
Maybe he got all he needed from Tiger Products.

Or maybe he hasn't been online since yesterday?
