IM looking for a very good jump cue, I dont need a jump/break cue i spent enough money for my current break cue. Im trying to figure out the diffrence between two piece and three piece jump cues. Isaw the Predator jump cue but nt so sure of the shaft what is it made of i only like bare wood and no fibre glass coating price is not an issue. Please chime in thank you in advance.

Lots of folks, including Stevie Moore, are saying good things about Lomax cues - including his jump cue. The Pred Air is all graphite (?) clad.

I tried almost all of the jump cue in the market:
Jacoby, DR Popper, J&J, Stinger J/B, X-Breaker J/B, Mezz Air Shooter, Lomax, Lucasi, Lucasi Hybrid, Bungee, Magic (J&J) Jump cue, Scorpion, Fury Jump cue, Jester, Predator Air, Stealth, Chilton Flying Eagle, and several others.
From all that I tried, I think the best one is Lomax. The other good jump cue is Lucasi original. Jacoby jump cue is better but more expensive from Lucasi.

Please remember what I think is good might not be a good jump cue for you. FYI, I jump using dart stroke.

If you need a Jacoby Jump cue, I have some used items for sale.

Please PM me if you need detailed information about some jump cue I ever tried.

Good luck with your search.

If you want to get a lomax jump cue I can talk to him in a few weeks about getting one to you.

like a few people on here have mentioned, i hear alot of good things about lomax jump cues, also hanshew jumpers would be worth looking into (svb's new jump cue).

Stealth AT1

I think the way to go is the Stealth AT1. It is a 3 piece jump cue. The advantage is it gives you a short and longer jump cue depending on what you want or what the shot requires. It is fairly light with a leather tip.

I'm sure Ned Morris will be demoing them in Vegas these next 2 weeks.

If you are in Las Vegas at the BCA there will be several available for trying out if history repetes it self.

I have a new, unplayed Stealth AT1 available if you are interested. PM me for details.

I don't have experience with anything but my Jacoby but I really like it. I had never jumped before I bought my Jacoby. Kept it in my bag for weeks before I tried it because I wasn't sure how to use it. Broke it out one day finally and after a few tries I was not only jumping over balls but actually making the object ball too. I was shocked, it was so easy to use. Still gaining consistency with it but I like the cue a lot so far.

Pete Ohman's jump cue is different from the rest. I prefer it over any other I have tried. Omen Cues in Melbourne Fla. 321-951-8123

I just got back from the BCA in vegas and tried all the jump cues there.
I liked Ned Morris's jump cue with the leather tip the best.

ive tried a couple of jump and jump break cues. out of the ones ive used the jacoby stands out above the others.

I made a fantastic jump on the 24th game in Vegas at 130 pm friday night so it is the best, really it jumps real well, all my teamates have jump cues but if im there they use mine, its a Jerico Stinger jumpbreak

I have had some where near 15 different jump cues and I would say that the stealth AT-1 is what I currently have with a joe picone white diamnod tip which gets the ball up amazingly quick but with how light the cue is and the tip combination you tend to loose the ability to control the cue ball unless you are a well above average jump shot shooter. I did have a Jacoby and I very much like'd it but as comparing the 2 the jacoby is probably a tad more accurate and controls the cue ball a little better but the air time that I have gets over so much more and can be landed in places that the jacoby would over power or not clear a ball. hope this helps, btw if you do buy an airtime replace the factory water buffalo tip that comes on it, it jumps fairly good but your leaving alot on the table by not going to a better tip.
