This is why some of the best players in the US are struggling to make a living on the tournament circuit because they can not get a game. There are many knowledgable pool people who post and lurk on this board. There are also some very accomplished players. (McCready, Grady, Sarah, etc.) who post here. Antonio has played Grady in the past. The days of showing up in a town as an unknown and busting that town are from days past. The pool detectives on the internet will have a player exposed at once. We are just attempting to cut through the extra crap. We are interested, will anyone else be? Who knows but it is worth a try.

In that case huckster, if Antonio is your player you must give up some weight to most players, unless you play Archer, Immonen, Parica, or Morris. If your near Canada try giving Alex a call. If you would like I would bet on all of these guys over Antonio. You can also get a game with guys like Shannon Daulton, Tony Watson, Eric Durbin, James Welden, Cliff Joyner, Jeremy Jones, Charlie Williams, Amar Kang and John Schmidt if you give them a little weight, some of them may or may not even ask for any. By the way Antonio dont have to win those games especially if you play one pocket, then Antonio can get a little weight. If your champion is so good he can give up weight like Archer, Alex and Parica do, and still get the gold.
I dont know why people are getting on Hucksters case. Here we are trying to get all kinds of info about "action" and when a guy comes out and says he has a man that is looking for some gets flak. We should urge this kind of activity. Its not a dare but a simple out front challenge. I for one would like to see long set matches between top players. Tournaments are great but the matches are too short. Races to 7 are a joke. Now if only we could make gambling on these matches legit like they do in the UK the better. Hey we bet on Horses, Dogs, lottery, Poker, why not pool players!. If someone can get a consortium of bettors to back their favorite guy against Lining that would be great for you and me.

I totally agree with you Yobagua!! I don't understand the fuss. This could be a great tool for putting these top matches together. Wouldn't it be great if we could make this kind of thing somewhat legit so that it could be put together totally up front? I'd pay a lot to see two top players play for the cash. They could match up in different games. Maybe it could be done somewhere like Atlantic City, Nevada or anywhere that gambling is legal. We could get a whole bunch of side betting going on. This could become very big.

If you have a player and want to play, contact the guy, if not, just wish your favorite player in the game well. Wake up guys. It's just gambling. Gambling is GOOD. Its fun. I watched Antonio run 4 racks of 15 ball rotation in 1993 or 1994 in Northridge, CA at the The Billiards Connection. About a week later, he came to the shop and picked up one of my sneaky pete's, and then went on a road trip and cleaned out the East Coast, including several tournaments, including a tournament at Billy Stevens room "The playing Field" in Richmond, that had about 200 players...and I mean world class players. I think he beat Mike Sigel in the finals. He used that cue for several years, and I'm sure won a ton of cheese with it.NorthCarolinian said:
