Looking for advice on recovering my table

Can anyone shed some light on which material is the best for recovering my pool table? I use it mainly for 8 ball & 9 ball. I want it to be fast, but not "lightning" fast. They tell me that I should go with the Simonis 860 cloth instead of the 760. I would just like some opinions.

HR stands for High Resistance... it should wear better than 860... and it is slightly faster (is what I have been told).

Definitely wouldn't get the 760 (way to fast) although others might like it. I got 860HR blue for my 9 ft table (worth every penny).

The only problem you might encounter is having the nicest table around.

Seems like the trend is fast cloth so I guess that's what we practice on. 9 ft or billiard tables being fat I can understand, but I don't understand fast bar tables.

On a seven-foot table, I would certainly recommend the 860 - not the 860HR. I have a nine-foot table and have found the HR to be quite a bit faster than the 860; too fast for my taste. I will go back to the 860 on my next recover.

Any Simonis style is fast.
Of the common Simonis styles (860, 860HR, 760) the 860 is the slowest of the 3 (760 being the fastest) .
